It’s another Christmas in July project! Today’s project features a gift tag using the Tidings & Trimmings Bundle in the Annual Catalog. You’ll notice it’s a large gift tag. This allows you to use the tag on a variety of packages from a small package such as the Ombre Bags to much larger packages. For the tag base, use the Scalloped Contours Dies. This is another of those quick projects. If you’re like me, there’s always some last minute packaging needing tags. So let’s get prepared and make some of these tags to have handy when the need arises. As with my other Christmas in July projects, the materials and assembly video are located below.

Today’s Christmas in July project offers a sneak peek of the Christmas to Remember Bundle from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. It’s the second week of Christmas in July 2021 and today features Poinsettia Gift Tags. Last holiday season, I saw Poinsettia Gift tags created by other demonstrators and made a mental note to use the set for gift tags in the future. So this year, I am making Poinsettia gift tags for some of my holiday packages. The Poinsettia Dies are perfect for creating the poinsettia embellishment for the tags. The first tag is a poinsettia gift tag design using non-traditional Christmas colors. The 2021-2023 In Colors are some of my favorite colors and so I selected Polished Pink for the poinsettia. It will be perfect to for use this Christmas on one of my granddaughter’s gifts. In addition, I’m sharing another poinsettia gift tag using stamped poinsettia layers which are cut with the coordinating dies. The color scheme is more subtle (crumb cake on very vanilla cardstock).

The card today features the Friends Are Like Seashells Bundle. I originally made this card for a Shoebox Swap and decided to make a video for you demonstrating how easy it is to recreate. Well, I finally ordered the Gnome for the Holidays Stamp Set! It’s such a cute set and I’m glad I have added it to my collection. It arrived with the Snowflake Splendor Suite and the idea for today’s project was born…a Snowy Gnome! Using the gnome with the snowflakes on his hat in combination with the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper, a snow themed card came together. Notice the background of the gnome…it’s created by masking the gnome and sponging inks to create a background that coordinates with the snowy designer series paper.
