It’s another Christmas in July project! Today’s project features a gift tag using the Tidings & Trimmings Bundle in the Annual Catalog. You’ll notice it’s a large gift tag. This allows you to use the tag on a variety of packages from a small package such as the Ombre Bags to much larger packages. For the tag base, use the Scalloped Contours Dies. This is another of those quick projects. If you’re like me, there’s always some last minute packaging needing tags. So let’s get prepared and make some of these tags to have handy when the need arises. As with my other Christmas in July projects, the materials and assembly video are located below.
Tidings & Trimmings Gift Tag Materials:

Today’s Christmas in July project offers a sneak peek of the Christmas to Remember Bundle from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. You’ll be able to order products from the Mini Catalog starting August 3, 2021. (Yes, catalog date is July but due to product and global shipping delays, launch had to be delayed.) The Christmas to Remember bundle is just one of the offerings in the Painted Christmas Suite. This was one of the first bundles on my preorder list. With the array of holiday greetings in the stamp set, I have plenty of greetings for holiday cards. When combined with the coordinating Christmas Pinecone Dies as a background, beautiful holiday cards are easy to create. For my project, the Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper creates the background for layering the die cuts.
Do you want to recreate this beautiful card? If so, you’ll find the list of materials and a video tutorial for assembly below.

Check back on Friday for another Christmas in July project with a video tutorial. Projects will post at noon EST.
Keeping with this week’s gift tag theme for Christmas in July, I am featuring Snowman Gift Tags. A recent purchase of snowman notepads became the inspiration for the snowman gift tags. Since I’ll be “giving a little something” to folks throughout the holiday season, it’s only appropriate to make the presentation special. Right?! Even better, the notepads fit perfectly into the Ombre Gift Bags. And with coordinating snowman gift tags, the “little something” is ready to present later this year. The Snowman Season Stamp Set and the Tailor Made Tags Dies in the 2021-2022 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog are perfect for making the gift tags. Best of all, the tags are quick and easy to make!

It’s the second week of Christmas in July 2021 and today features Poinsettia Gift Tags. Last holiday season, I saw Poinsettia Gift tags created by other demonstrators and made a mental note to use the set for gift tags in the future. So this year, I am making Poinsettia gift tags for some of my holiday packages. The Poinsettia Dies are perfect for creating the poinsettia embellishment for the tags. The first tag is a poinsettia gift tag design using non-traditional Christmas colors. The 2021-2023 In Colors are some of my favorite colors and so I selected Polished Pink for the poinsettia. It will be perfect to for use this Christmas on one of my granddaughter’s gifts. In addition, I’m sharing another poinsettia gift tag using stamped poinsettia layers which are cut with the coordinating dies. The color scheme is more subtle (crumb cake on very vanilla cardstock).
Project Materials:
Polished Pink Poinsettia Gift Tag:
Poinsettia Dies
100 Fluid Watercolor Paper
Cardstock:
Polished Pink Cardstock (2-3/4″ x 4″)
Soft Succulent Cardstock (scraps for leaves)

(Optional) Polished Pink Stampin’ Blends
Sponge Daubers
Spritzer with water
Soft Succulent Classic Ink Pad
2021-2023 In-Color Shimmer Vellum
Scalloped Contours Dies
Frosted Gingerbread Stamp Set #156314 (for sentiment) in the July-Dec 2021 Mini Catalog – available for ordering August 3
Optional – Artificially Inked Stamp Set (for background dots)

Well, I finally ordered the Gnome for the Holidays Stamp Set! It’s such a cute set and I’m glad I have added it to my collection. It arrived with the Snowflake Splendor Suite and the idea for today’s project was born…a Snowy Gnome! Using the gnome with the snowflakes on his hat in combination with the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper, a snow themed card came together. Notice the background of the gnome…it’s created by masking the gnome and sponging inks to create a background that coordinates with the snowy designer series paper.
In the video below, I demonstrate how to color the gnome panel and assemble the card:
Materials:
Highland Heather Cardstock: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ score at 4-1/4″ for base; 4-1/4″ x 3″ for oval base
Whisper White Cardstock: 5-1/4″ x 4″ for first layer; 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ for gnome; 3-1/4″ x 3/4″ for sentiment
Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper: 5″ x 3-3/4″
Inks:
Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Balmy Blue Classic Ink Pad
Misty Moonlight Classic Ink Pad
Whisper White Craft Ink Pad
Stampin’ Blends Markers:
Ivory
Misty Moonlight (light & dark)
Highland Heather (light)
Gray Granite (light)
Smoky Slate (light)
Mango Melody (light)
Color Lifter
Snowflake Wishes Photopolymer Stamp Set
Dies
Layering Ovals
Stitched Shapes
Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes
Here’s the card from the video with a sentiment from the Snowman Season Stamp Set. After stamping the sentiment onto a scrap of Whisper White, I used paper snips to trim around the shape.
Stay tuned for more gnome cards! I have more ideas and will be sharing them soon. I would love to hear your comments!
