It’s that time of year to prepare for Halloween! In today’s post, I have two Halloween treat holders tutorials for you. Both use the Online Exclusive Potion & Spells bundle. The Halloween Spells Designer Series Paper is a new release and can be found in the Patterned Paper section in the Online Store.
The Toil and Trouble small Kit Kat treat holder is very quick to assemble. The treat holder is not just for small Kit Kit bars but will also hold a variety of small candy bars. The Cauldron treat holder does take a little bit more time to create. However, it’s size allows you to add a small cellophane bag filled with treats. The tutorial links for both of these Halloween treat holders can be found below the project photos.
Note: The Potions & Spells Bundle is currently unavailable but will be back in stock the week of October 14.
Have fun creating these two Halloween treat holders for friends, family, and of course, the ghosts & goblins that will be visiting on October 31!

Wow – it’s been awhile since I’ve posted! Needless to say, I’ve been busy. Summer is always a busy time. And most recently, on September 21, I hosted an all-day stamping event for thirty Georgia Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. Of course, it wasn’t exclusive to Georgia but the majority of demonstrators were from our state. It was the third Sweet Peaches Stampin’ Event and a fun day of crafting for everyone. I have now recuperated and have lots to share with you. Today’s post features one of the projects from the event that demonstrators were able to create. The card uses the Changing Leaves Bundle and is perfect when sending “a little note”. You’ll find a project tutorial below.
The Changing Leaves Bundle is an Online Exclusive and makes it easy to create a beautiful card. The bundle features a Hybrid Embossing Folder which means one of the dies fits into the embossing folder allowing you to cut and emboss at the same time. Notice the leaf in the card photo? The Oxidized Copper Special Designer Series Paper has been cut and embossed using the Hybrid Embossing Folder set. And of course, you can use the embossing folder separately as seen for the background layering panel.
The project tutorial is available here for you to use for creating the Changing Leaves “A Little Note” card.
Now that summer has ended and the stamping event is over, I’ll be back to posting more often. My next post will feature two treat holder ideas to use for Halloween so be sure to subscribe so you’ll receive notification. It will be available on Monday, October 7. So check back next week!
Today’s post features a hello greeting card using the Citrus Blooms Bundle and the Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper from the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog from Stampin’ Up! This is one of the July card class projects from the “Flowers & Blooms” class. All cards contain flowers or flower blooms.
This card highlights the beautiful Mediterranean Blooms designer series paper. The oranges and orange blossoms from the designer paper have a coordinating die. I just love it when there’s a die to cut beautiful images!
Notice the layering panel highlighting the citrus and blooms. A double cut using the Citrus Blooms die creates a smaller panel. The technique to create the top layering panel is shown in the assembly video.
