One of the new tools in the Annual Catalog is the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch. The design provides six options allowing you to create a variety of labels. Last week, I used the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch for the first time and it will definitely become one of my “go to” tools. The video below highlights the features of the punch. You can see the card using the punch below the video.
Here’s the card I created that uses the Lovely Label Pick A Punch:
The card base uses the Flowers for Every Season Memories & More Cards and Envelopes. Three strips of the Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper are cut to fit inside the dotted line rectangular box on the card. Stamp the sentiment onto a 1/2″ strip of Whisper White cardstock and cut the ends using the Lovely Label Pick a Punch. Create a layering label piece by cutting a 3/4″ piece of cardstock that coordinates with the card base. Texture emboss the label using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. Add the sentiment label to the texture embossed label. Finish card by embellishing the label with leaf pieces from the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper. Then, attach the label to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

At the recent Luv 2 Stampin GA group meeting, we held a card swap to share card ideas with one another. For my creation, the goal became combining new product with retiring products. For the new product, I choose the new Blossoms in Bloom Bundle. The Blossoms In Bloom Stamp Set and coordinating Many Layered Blossoms Dies offer versatility for creating beautiful floral themed cards. Mark your calendar, you can order this set on June 3, 2020. For the card below, I stamped the blossoms stamp and die cut an overlay from the retiring Woven Threads Designer Series Paper. I love the look the designer series paper gives to the flowers. Details for you to recreate the card are below.
Card Details:
Create card base by cutting a piece of Rococo Rose cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, then score at 4-1/4″ and fold.
With the Many Layered Blossoms Dies, cut the Woven Threads Designer Series Paper (6″ x 6″ piece) to create overlay. Check out the discounted price under Project Materials below!
Cut Whisper White cardstock layer – 5-1/4″ x 4″. Use the cut blossoms layer as your guide to determine where to stamp the flower centers.
Using the large blossoms stamp from the Blossoms In Bloom Set, stamp onto the Whisper White cardstock with Seaside Spray Classic Stampin’ Pad. Attach to the Rococo Rose card base using adhesive.
Add the blossoms overlay to the stamped blooms using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a scrap piece of Whisper White (approximately 1/2″ x 2-1/2″), stamp the sentiment using Rococo Rose Classic Stampin’ Pad. This sentiment comes from the Colorful Seasons Stamp Set. After stamping, cut a “v shape” to create a pennant end. Add to the card using Mini Glue Dots.
Finish the card by tying a knotted bow using the Rococo Rose Scalloped Ribbon and attach beside the sentiment with glue dots.
The Blossoms In Bloom Bundle will offer you lots of creative options. Be sure to order it on June 3 and have fun using Designer Series Papers to create different layering pieces.
Just a reminder:
Be sure to check the Last-Chance Products list to order some of your favorite products from the current catalog before they are no longer available. The final day to order the last-chance products is June 2 or while supplies last.

It’s a new month and to kick it off, we have the April 3D Tutorial Bundle! In addition to the April 3D Tutorial Bundle, the team is featuring a blog hop. We’re each sharing a project created to coordinate with our tutorial project. The theme for this month is Mother’s Day and more Spring Celebrations.
Remember, the projects designed for the 3D tutorial bundle aren’t available elsewhere online. Therefore, you’ll receive EXCLUSIVE projects in the tutorial bundle. In addition, you’ll receive both Imperial and Metric project measurements.
Here’s a Sneak Peek of the April 3D projects…
You’re going to love the projects featured in this month’s tutorial!
The card to coordinate with my 3D project is for Mother’s Day but the sentiment can easily be changed to use for a variety of occasions. Be sure to scroll below the card photo for card details and the Design Sketch.
The card design utilizes the sketch below:Card Details:
To create the card base, cut a 4-1/4″ x 11″ piece of Seaside Spray cardstock and score/fold at 5-1/2″.
Next, make the second layer using a piece of 3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″ Whisper White cardstock. With the “splotch” stamp from the Delightful Day stamp set and Seaside Spray Classic Stampin’ pad, stamp a background on the Whisper White cardstock. TIP: stamp off once before stamping onto the cardstock to create a light background.
After stamping the background, emboss the second layer using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
With the large Stitched Shapes circle die, cut the Seaside Spray gingham print from the 6″ x 6″ In-Color Designer Series Paper. Referring to the design sketch, cut the right side portion of the circle and attach to the Whisper White cardstock layer. Add to card base.
Using the Daisy Lane stamp set & Seaside Spray Classic Stampin’ Pad, stamp six medium daisies onto Whisper White cardstock. With coordinating Daisy Punch, cut the daisies. Then, layer two daisies together, adhering at the center with mini glue dots.
Cut four leaves from Old Olive cardstock using the Lovely Leaves Dies. Optional: sponge the edge of the leaves with Old Olive Classic Stampin’ Pad ink.
Next, add leaves to daisies with mini-glue dots and attach to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
For an added touch, cut 2″-3″ strips of Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and tuck among daisies using adhesive.
Using the Happy Mother’s Day sentiment in the Dressed to Impress Stamp Set, to stamp sentiment onto a strip of Whisper White cardstock. Cut into a banner shape using the Merry Christmas Dies. Sponge along the edge of the banner with the Seaside Spray ink. Then, add the banner to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals
To complete the card front, add a Clear Faceted Gem to the center of each daisy.
The Mother’s Day card along with the 3D project was lots of fun to create. Utilizing a Design Sketch when making a card is also a fun challenge.

Happy Friday! Hope you have plans for a fun and relaxing weekend. Today I am sharing a project from last year’s 12 Weeks of Christmas newsletter. Newsletter recipients received a variety of holiday project and gift ideas. This project, stamped tile coasters, is perfect as a craft fair project and is not holiday specific. The coasters are stamped with the flower from the Beautiful Day stamp set. We’re approaching the time of year when crafters are planning projects for fall and winter craft sales. This is a quick, easy project and would be great for a craft fair or just as a gift. Even better, you can make multiple sets at the same time.
Stampin’ Up! Project Materials:
Beautiful Day Stamp Set (#151257)
Stazon Jet Black Pad (#101406)
Stazon Jet Black refill (#102566)
Stampin’ Blends: Flirty Flamingo Light (#147031); Rich Razzleberry Light (#144584); Real Red Light (#147933); Highland Heather Light (#146881); Shaded Spruce Light (#147936); and Mango Melody Dark (#147983)
Other Materials:
4″ x 4″ marble tumbled tiles
adhesive backed felt or adhesive backed cork for bottom of tiles
Directions:
Wipe tiles with damp cloth to remove dust. Allow to dry.
Ink stamp with Stazon Jet Black – be sure that ink pad is well inked.
Stamp the image onto the tile using even pressure and hold for approximately 30 secs. to ensure that ink adheres to the tile.
Allow to dry for approximately 5 minutes before coloring with Stampin’ Blends.
Select desired Stampin’ Blends colors and color image. (refer to tips below before coloring)
Put tiles into 250F oven for 20 minute (note: I put in oven, turned it off and left in overnight). Let cool before applying the adhesive tabs to bottom of tile.
TIPS: Since Stazon ink is not recommended for use with Stampin’ Blends below are tips for coloring onto the tiles using the Blends:
Keep a paper towel handy to wipe the tip of the Blends often to remove any Stazon that may transfer to the tip of the Blends, especially with light colors.
In small areas (such as flower center), stipple with the tip of the Blends to color. Do not brush the
image to color.
For the larger sections of the stamped image, use short strokes to color and color just up to but not over the Stazon ink.
Remember to wipe blends tip on paper towels.

Yes, in the 2019-2020 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog, we have cows! The Over the Moon stamp set will have you smiling. The set is so darn cute, you can’t help but be happy. I have had lots of fun using the set. For the open house, I made a couple of cards and a tag to attach to a mini-milk carton filled with milk duds.
Card #1 Details:
In addition to highlighting the Over the Moon stamp set on this first card, it also features the new In-Color Terracotta Tile. The card base is Terracotta Tile cardstock with a layer of Whisper White cardstock. The top layer is the coordinating gingham check from the 2019-2021 In-Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper Pack. A strip of coordinating Terracotta Tile Scalloped Linen Ribbon tucked below the cow layer adds that “little extra something”. Stamp the cow onto Whisper White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and color with Stampin’ Blends. The colors on the cow’s spots below are Smoky Slate Light and Dark Stampin’ Blends with a touch of Light Basic Black Stampin’ Blends. To create the shadow effect, use the light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends. The Ivory Stampin’ Blend highlights the nostrils of the cow. Stamp the sentiment with the Terracotta Tile Classic Stampin’ Ink Pad. Lastly, cut the shape using the large circle Stitched Shapes Die. Doesn’t this cow make you smile?
Card #2 Details:
For the second card, one of the new Scalloped Note Cards creates the card base along with another of the Over the Moon stamps. The Scalloped Note Cards and coordinating envelopes help simplify card making. The set contains 5 each of four colors: Balmy Blue, Old Olive, Light Pink and Terracotta Tile. To recreate the card below, stamp the cow onto Whisper White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Color using the cow spots using the Light and Dark Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends. Complete the coloring using Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends for the boots, Old Olive for the leaves and Daffodil Delight for the daisy center. Oh don’t forget, color the cow’s horns and nostrils using the Ivory Stampin’ Blends. Cut using the Layering Ovals Dies. Finish by stamping the sentiment onto a strip of Daffodil Delight cardstock and tying a bow with Whisper White Baker’s Twine.
Last but not least…
are the milk cartons with the cow tag. Talk about a fun project! Several of the items for this project are retired product but the cows just scream to be added to a milk carton! The milk cartons are cut using a retired Milk Carton die but you can find ready cut milk cartons available on Amazon. The clothes pins to hold the tag are also retired but the new Mini Library Clips would work wonderfully. Of course, I forgot to add them to my order! The Love What You Do stamp set has the perfect stamps to create the “cow spots” on the milk carton! The cow was colored as in card #2 and cut using the 2″ circle punch. The Starburst Punch creates the base of either Terracotta Tile or Pretty Peacock cardstock which showcases the cow. All attendees at the Open House were able to take a milk carton home with them.
I hope these cows make you smile too! Be sure to order the Over the Moon stamp set and have fun creating a variety of projects. Contact me (CreativestampingwithMargaret@gmail.com) if you need assistance placing your order.
