It’s a new month and to kick it off, we have the June 3D Tutorial Bundle! We have the fabulous Tammy Civello joining us as a guest designer for this month’s 3D tutorial. In addition to the tutorial bundle, the team is featuring a blog hop! Even better, we’re each sharing a second project created using the same products to coordinate with our tutorial project. This month, the team is featuring products from the Flowers for Every Season Suite for our projects. This suite of products is in the upcoming 2020-2021 Annual Catalog and will be available for purchase on June 3.

Now for a Sneak Peek of the June 3D projects…
Here’s my bonus project to coordinate with my June 3D tutorial. It features the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle which is included in the Flowers for Every Season Suite. Also, check out the new In-Color, Misty Moonlight.
Card Details:
- Using a 4-1/4″ x 11″ piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock, score at 5-1/2″ and fold to create the card base.
- A layer of 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″ piece of the Misty Moonlight In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series.
- With the large sunflower stamp from the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set, stamp the image onto a 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Whisper White cardstock using Soft Suede Classic Stampin’ Pad. Color the sunflower image using the following Stampin’ Blends Markers: Light Soft Suede (flower center), Light So Saffron, Light Pumpkin Pie and Dark Daffodil Delight (flower petals). Cut using the coordinating die from the Sunflowers Dies.
- On a 4-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamp the sentiment on the lower right side of the cardstock using the Misty Moonlight Classic Ink Pad (Item #153118). Lucky for me, an ink spot of this color is in the May Paper Pumpkin kit!
- Stamp three (3) of the large leaves from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set onto the Whisper White cardstock using Old Olive Classic Stampin’ Pad. TIP: for determining placement of the leaves, lay the die cut sunflower onto the cardstock to give you an idea where to stamp the leaves. Remove the sunflower and then stamp the leaves. Color the leaves using the Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Marker. Next adhere to the card offset by aligning the Whisper White edge with the right edge of the Designer Series Paper layer.
- Attach the die cut sunflower to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Embellish by adding the Misty Moonlight Enamel Dots (from the 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots package).
One more thing – embellish the card interior and the envelope!

Happy Monday! Today I am sharing an Ornate Style floral bouquet featuring the large floral spray from the Ornate Style Cling Stamp Set. This stamp set is one of the products in the Ornate Garden Suite Early Release. The floral image begs to be colored with markers or using watercolor techniques. For today’s card, Stampin’ Blends Markers are used.
Card Details:
- Create card base using Rococo Rose (5-1/2″ x 11″, score at 4-1/4″ and fold).
- For second layer, cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock (5-1/4″ x 4″) and texture emboss using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. Attach to card base with strong adhesive.
- Stamp the sentiment, Thinking of You, in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a 1/2″ x 4″ strip of Whisper White cardstock. The sentiment is from the Colorful Seasons Stamp Set. Next, layer the sentiment piece onto a 4″ x 3/4″ strip of Rococo Rose cardstock. Set aside to add to card after adding the floral piece.
- Using Tuxedo Black Memento ink, stamp the large floral onto a 4″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Whisper White cardstock.
- With paper snips, fussy cut the floral spray leaving a small border (approximately 1/8″). Color around the border and outline of flowers using the Smoky Slate Light Stampin’ Blends Marker.
- Color the flowers and leaves using the following Stampin’ Blends Markers: Rococo Rose Light & Dark, Daffodil Delight Light, Balmy Blue Light & Dark, Old Olive Light & Dark
- Attach the floral to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals, then add the sentiment piece using a strong adhesive.
- Using the Smoky Slate Light Stampin’ Marker to color a piece of Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon. Tie into a small bow and add to sentiment using a Mini Glue Dot.
- To complete the card front, embellish the small flower centers with Basic Rhinestone Jewels.
And, don’t forget to embellish the card interior!
Coloring with the Stampin’ Blends Markers takes me back to being a child and coloring with crayons. There’s something therapeutic about coloring!

Before I share my project using the Best Catch Stamp Set, I want to first check in to see how you’re doing? Have you remained healthy? Are you adjusting to the guidelines for dealing with the pandemic? I hope the answers are positive. For me it’s certainly been an adjustment. My grandson, Alex,has online school and since both parents are still working, I have been helping out as teacher’s aide and staying in Atlanta. Since we’re practicing limited contact, Alex stays with me during the week before going home for the weekend. Then, I head out of Atlanta to our home from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon. Then back to Atlanta for another week of school. It’s been great bonding time but I do miss be able to go into my craft cave. Plus I miss the monthly card classes and spending time sharing my passion for paper crafting with others. This weekend, I am burying myself in my craft cave and hope to complete additional projects to share with you.
Today’s card a great masculine card featuring the Best Catch Stamp Set and coordinating Catch of the Day Dies. Since my youngest son enjoys fishing, I knew the set would be perfect to create a card for his recent birthday. The High Tide Stamp Set offers the perfect stamp for creating the water and shoreline.
Card Details:
- Card base: Old Olive cardstock 4-1/4″ x 11″, score at 5-1/2″ and fold.
- Second Layer: Crumb Cake cardstock 4″ x 5-1/4″. Texture emboss using the Basket Weave 3D Embossing Folder. Attach to the card base.
- Card front layer: Whisper White cardstock 3-3/4″ x 5″. With the shoreline stamp from the High Tide Stamp Set, stamp along the lower edge of the card using Crumb Cake Classic Stampin’ Pad.
- Next, create the “water” with the High Tide Stamp Set using Seaside Spray Classic Stampin’ Pad. Stamp approximately half way up the card piece. Create the sky by using a sponge dauber to lightly add the Seaside Spray ink to the remainder of the card. Attach to the embossed Crumb Cake layer using a strong adhesive.
- Using the cattails die from Catch of the Day Dies and from Friendly Silhouettes Dies, to cut Whisper White cardstock. (Note: you can cut multiples of cattails from the Catch of the Day if you do not have the Friendly Silhouettes dies). Color the cattails using the light and dark Mossy Meadow blends, the Color Lifter and the Soft Suede Dark Blends. Add to card using mini glue dots.
For the Fish:
On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamp the fish using Soft Suede Classic Stampin’ Pad. Color the fish using the following Stampin’ Blends: Mossy Meadow Light, Soft Sea Foam Light, Old Olive Light, Calypso Coral Light. If desired, use the Color Lifter to lighten areas. Lightly wash over the fish with Clear Wink of Stella. Cut the fish using the coordinating Catch of the Day die. Next, add the fish to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp sentiment using Old Olive Classic Stampin’ Pad onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock and cut using the 1-1/2″ circle punch. TIP: look at photo for placement of the sentiment – punch so sentiment is on lower right part of the circle so you have room to add the fishing hat. Add to card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Use Soft Suede to stamp the hat outline and color with the Soft Suede Light Blends. After coloring, cut using the coordinating die from Catch of the Day Dies and attach to the sentiment using Mini Glue Dots.
Lastly, don’t forget the envelope! Stamp the fishing basket onto the front with Soft Suede and color using the Soft Suede Light Stampin’ Blends. TIP: to prevent the ink from bleeding through the envelope, insert a piece of scrap paper or post-it note before stamping and coloring.
It was lots of fun creating this card and I have plans to use the Best Catch set again for another male relative.

This weekend we’re celebrating our granddaughter Brooklynn’s 3rd birthday. Of course, Brooklynn’s birthday card must be in her favorite color – purple. Therefore, I used several shades of purple on the card. The New Wonders Stamp Set is perfect creating a card for a 3 year old girl. She’s a fan of Frozen and though the girl in the stamp set isn’t Elsa or Anna, I don’t think Brooklynn will care. But, I know she will like the card!
Card Directions:
- Create a card base using a 4-1/4″ x 11-1/2″ piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock. Score at 5-1/2″ and fold to use as a side opening card.
- Add a layer of 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of the Highland Heather plaid designer series paper from the 6″ x 6″ Subtles Designer Series Paper package.
- Refer to card photo for placement of stamping images and sentiment. Stamp the image from the New Wonders stamp set onto a 4-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ piece of Whisper White cardstock using Basic Gray Classic Stampin’ Pad.
- Use Gorgeous Grape Classic Stampin’ Pad to stamp the sentiment on the card. The words Happy Birthday are from the Well Said Stamp Set and “3 rd” stamps are from the Make A Difference Stamp Set.
- Use Stampin’ Blends in the following colors for the girl image: Ivory (face, hands and feet); Daffodil Delight Combo and Light Soft Suede (hair), Purple Posy Combo (for top) and Highland Heather Combo (for skirt), Light Seaside Spray (wings) and Smoky Slate Combo for the ink pen. When coloring, use the Color Lifter to help with shading. Light Real Red Stampin’ Blend colors the hearts. Add Clear Wink of Stella to the skirt for a touch of shimmer.
- Cut the Whisper White with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Attach to the center of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Complete by tying a knotted bow using the Purple Tricolor Ribbon and adding to card front with a mini glue dot.
Oh, don’t forget to stamp the interior too…
I can’t wait to see Brooklynn’s face when she opens the card along with her gift. Purple is definitely the theme!

One of my regular card class attendees recently had a fall and was injured. Since she had to miss the last class, I made a note card for the class group to sign so it could be sent to cheer her up. The Gang’s All Meer stamp set with the “from all of us” greeting along with the gang of meerkats made the perfect note card. Aren’t the meerkats and their expressions cute? They certainly guarantee smiles! The Gang’s All Meer is in the Sale-a-Bration brochure and is available for FREE with a $50 purchase (before tax & shipping) until March 31, 2020. 
Details on making the card:
The base is a Whisper White note card from a package of the Note Cards & Envelopes in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. Stamp the “gang” and the “from all of us greeting” onto a 4-1/2″ x 3″ piece of Whisper White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Use the Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends to color the meerkats. With the Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend color the ground. Cut a 15″ piece of Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon. Color the ribbon with the Dark Pool Party Blends. Allow ribbon to dry for a few minutes, then tie the around the card front. Attach the card front to a 4-3/4″ x 3-1/4″ piece of Pool Party cardstock. To complete the card, attach the Pool Party layer to the note card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The good news is Deborah has recuperated and will be stamping with the group at our upcoming class. We’re excited for her return!

Each month the top sales performers in the Playtime with Paper group receive a small gift for their accomplishment. Naturally, the gift must include a card or tag. Using the Over the Moon Cling Stamp Set from the Annual Catalog, I was able to make an “Udderly Fantastic” note card . As you can tell from the “udderly fantastic”, there must be a cow somewhere on the card! If you noticed from my past posts, I enjoy using the note cards. The note cards are perfect to have on hand when you want to prepare a quick card. Best of all, twenty note cards come in a set, are reasonably priced and envelopes are included.
Here are the steps for creating the card:
- The stamp for creating the cow spots background comes from the Love What You Do Stamp Set. Randomly stamp spots onto the Whisper White Note Card using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
- Stamp the sentiment and the cow onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock. Cut using the large circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.
- Color the cow using the following Stampin’ Blends: Light Black for the spots, hoof, and tail; Light Smoky Slate for the tail, hair tuft and shading shadows; Light Petal Pink for the face, udder and inside ears and Light Mossy Meadow for the grass.
- Use the large scallop from the Layering Circles die to cut a layering piece from Basic Black cardstock. Attach the cow piece to the scallop using adhesive.
- Tie a piece of Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon around the card.
- Complete the card by adding the cow tag to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Order the Over the Moon Stamp Set along with some note cards and have an udderly fun time creating a variety of cards!
