Coloring Lovely Lattice

The past few weeks, I have been promoting that during Sale-a-Bration you have the opportunity to earn free product.  One of the many products you can earn is the Lovely Lattice stamp set.   This is a beautiful stamp set that you will have fun coloring.  There are so many techniques you can choose from when you put the images to the paper.  My personal favorite would be to color with the Stampin’ Blends or the Aqua Painter.  Take advantage of Sale-a-Bration and earn this set for free with a $50 purchase from my online store.

There are so many other products in the Sale-a-Bration catalog you can choose from or earn in addition to this stamp set. If you don’t have a Sale-a-Bration catalog, download it here and take a look at all the choices.  You can also download the Occasions catalog here.  Shop all products in my online store here.  Enjoy!

Quick & Easy Using So Hoppy Together

Today’s card is quick and easy using the So Hoppy Together Cling Stamp Set from the Sale-a-Bration brochure.  Our grandson, Alex, recently earned honors at school so we are giving him a small gift as a reward for his hard work.  Naturally, the gift needs a card!  Often I like to use the Whisper White Narrow Note Cards with coordinating envelopes to accompany gifts.  The narrow cards are the perfect size for simple stamping and come in a package of 20 cards with matching envelopes.  Plus, there is enough room inside the card for writing a short note.  The So Hoppy Together Cling Stamp is very cute and the frog on the unicycle is perfect for the narrow card.  The “You Can Do Anything” sentiment in the stamp set is perfect for the congratulatory card for Alex’s achievements.

So Hoppy Together Narrow Note Card

Card Directions:

  1. Stamp the image from So Hoppy Together Cling Stamp set onto Whisper White Narrow Note Card using Stazon Jet Black Ink.
  2. Randomly stamp the sentiment around the card using the Stazon Jet Black ink.
  3. Color the stamped image using Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pens.  Use the Old Olive watercolor pencil and the blender pen to lighten areas on the frog.  Color unicycle using the Black and Grey watercolor pencil.  Real Red and Daffodil Delight watercolor pencil colors complete the unicycle.

As said, this is definitely quick and easy!  By placing a $50 order, you can receive the So Hoppy Together Cling Stamp Set for FREE.  The full list of materials for this card is under Project Materials at the end of the post.  By ordering all of the items, you can select the So Hoppy stamp set as your Sale-a-bration item.

Valentine Card featuring Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheet

Valentine’s Day is approaching so this elegant Valentine card featuring Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheet makes a lovely card for giving to a special person.  I am loving the products in the Sale-a-Bration brochure and the Grapefruit Grove and Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets are no exception.  Remember, you can receive them for FREE with a $50 order.  Once I saw the Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets, I knew including them in the card design was a necessity.   The Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder adds elegance to the Lovely Lipstick Foil.  And WOW – what a dramatic change!  You will see more projects from me using this embossing folder!  Elements from both the Forever Lovely and Meant to Be Bundles complete the card.  Details for creating the card are below the photo of the card.

Valentine's Day Card Featuring Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets, Forever Lovely And Meant to Be Stamp Sets

Card Directions:

  1. Start with Lovely Lipstick cardstock: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″.  Score at 4-1/4″ and fold on score line to create card.
  2. Cut a piece of Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheet to 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″.  Use Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (TIEF) to add texture to the Lovely Lipstick Foil piece.
  3. Use Lovely Lipstick Classic Stampin’ Pad to stamp the large flower from the Forever Lovely Stamp Set onto a 2″ x 2″ piece of Whisper White cardstock.  Along the edge of this same cardstock, stamp two leaves from the stamp set using Soft Sea Foam Classic Stampin’ Pad.  Cut the flower and leaves using the coordinating dies from the Lovely Flowers Edgelits Dies.
  4. On a scrap of Soft Sea Foam cardstock, cut one of the open leaf dies.   Cut the small flowers with the die from a scrap of Lovely Lipstick cardstock.
  5. Use the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies to cut a valentine heart from a piece of 2-3/4″ x 3-1/2″ Whisper White cardstock.
  6. Stamp the Happy Valentine’s Day sentiment inside the heart using Lovely Lipstick Classic Stampin’ Pad.  The sentiment is in the Meant to Be stamp set.

Card Assembly:

  1. Attach the embossed Lovely Lipstick to the card base using snail adhesive.
  2. Refer to photo on layering placement of flowers and leaves. Attach the large flower with a mini-dimensional and use mini-glue dots for other flowers and leaves.
  3. Center heart onto the Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheet and attach using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  4. Embellish small flower centers using small Pearl Basic Jewels.
  5. Tie a small bow using Whisper White Baker’s Twine and adhere to heart above sentiment.

Even if you do not have the foil sheets, this card can easily be replicated using cardstock.  The must have item is the Lace Dynamic TIEF which will add the elegance.  Project Materials are listed at the bottom of this post.  You can order directly by clicking on the item in the list.

Bloom All Year

As with many of our catalogs, the Occasions catalog has it’s share of project kits from Stampin’ Up!.  The Made to Bloom Kit makes it possible for you to bloom all year long.  In the kit, you will also receive pre-printed elements which allows you to add beautiful color to your cards.  The kit also contains a stamp set, accents, stamp pad, stamp block, adhesive backed pearls, card bases and envelopes.  Once you complete all the cards, you can store them in the acetate box included or, give them away as a gift.

I love being able to have a box of cards for any occasion.  Stampin’ Up! adds new project kits to every catalog each year.  When you are new to stamping or have limited time to craft, these kits are a life saver.  Being able to have all the products in one box saves time and helps you improve your crafting skills.

Order your kit today through my online store.

Selling Out Fast

We have some more products that are selling out fast at Stampin’ Up!.  They are so popular and Stampin’ Up! just did not expect the volume of orders they have received.  The Lovely Lipstick and Grapefruit Grove foil sheets and Precious Parcel card kit are going fast.  They are still available but I fear not for long.  These products are going so fast that they may not be available through the entire Sale-A-Bration period.

Grapefruit Grove & Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets (item 149712)
Precious Parcel Card Kit (item 149750)

It would be a good idea to act on this fast.  If you are still interested in these items, visit my online store and earn these products soon.
