It’s a new month and to kick it off, we have the October 3D Tutorial Bundle & Blog Hop! We have the talented Patti Dolan joining us again as a guest designer. In addition to the tutorial bundle, the design team is featuring a blog hop. We’re each sharing a second project created using the same products to coordinate with our tutorial project. You’ll find the blog hop links at the bottom of this post. This month, the team is highlighting autumn.
Remember, the projects designed for the 3D bundle tutorials aren’t available elsewhere online. Therefore, you’ll receive EXCLUSIVE projects in the tutorial bundle. In addition, we’re including both Imperial and Metric measurements for each project.
Starting next month, the 3D Bundle Tutorial Design Team is moving the date for our post to the 10th of each month. So mark your calendar! With the change, this month’s tutorial is available for purchase until November 10, 2020.
Now for a Sneak Peek of the October 3D projects…

You’re going to love these autumn themed projects in the October 3D Tutorial Bundle.
Here’s my bonus project to coordinate with my October 3D tutorial project and features the Love of Leaves Bundle.
Card Details:
- Create a card base with Early Espresso cardstock (5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, score & fold at 4-1/4″).
- Next, add a Very Vanilla cardstock layer (5-1/8″ x 4″).
- Cut two strips of Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper (1= 3/8″ x 5-1/4″ and 1=3/8″ x 4″). Attach the two strips to the Very Vanilla cardstock layer with each approximately 1″ from the side and bottom of the cardstock. The strips will intersect.
- Stamp the sentiment from the Love of Leaves stamp set using Early Espresso Classic Ink Pad onto a 2″ square of Very Vanilla cardstock. Cut using a stitched circle die from the Stitched Shapes Dies. Sponge along the edge of the circle with Early Espresso Classic Ink Pad.
- To stamp the leaves: first ink the leaf stamps from the Love of Leaves Stamp Set with Old Olive Classic Ink Pad. Then using a sponge dauber, dab Terracotta Tile Classic Ink along tips and partially along the sides of leaves. With another sponge dauber, dab Bumblebee Classic Ink in the center and along part of the leaf edges below the Terracotta Tile. (Note: it is difficult to see where you’ve dabbed the ink on the stamp but there’s “no wrong” way. Think of how leaves look when changing colors – no two are alike. ) After daubing the inks, stamp leaves onto a scrap piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and cut with the coordinating Stitched Leaves Dies.
- Using the second largest leaf die from the Stitched Leaves Dies, cut a piece of the Brushed Metallic Cardstock.
- For the next step, layer the leaves onto the card front and overlapping the intersection of the Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper strips.
- To complete the card front, attach the sentiment label using Stampin’ Dimensionals. And of course, don’t forget to embellish the envelope.
When wanting to create autumn leaves, layering ink using sponge daubers onto your stamps is a fun technique. But remember, just dab the ink onto your base color of ink.

Sep 28, 2020 | 2020-2021 Annual Catalog, Arrange A Wreath, Boxes, Bundles, Note Card Box |
Happy Monday and I hope your week is off to a good beginning. Today’s post features an Arrange A Wreath Mini Card Pack. Last week, I was honored to be a guest presenter for a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator group. Guest presenters share project ideas that can be used for classes or stamping events. As a guest presenter, one’s task is to create a minimum of four projects using a specific stamp set or bundle. Three projects should fall into the card category and the other can be either a 3D or home decor project. All of my projects featured the Arrange A Wreath Bundle.
For me, I set a personal challenge. The challenge of using only the stamps in the stamp set! When designing projects, I usually pull from several stamp sets. (my husband calls it “my squirrel mode”! LOL) Fortunately, the wide variety of stamps and dies in the Arrange A Wreath bundle made it easy to adhere to my challenge. The bundle consists of the Arrange A Wreath Stamp Set and the Wreath Builder Dies. For two of the sentiments, I did use the Layering Circles and Layering Ovals Dies. So today, I’m sharing one of the featured projects – the Arrange A Wreath Mini Card Pack. The mini card pack consists of four 3″ x 3″ cards for various occasions.

Tips for creating the mini card pack:
- All the card bases are Whisper White cardstock, cut 3″ x 6″. Then, score at 3″ and fold for a size of 3″ x 3″.
- Select the colors you wish to use on your cards for the various occasions and use coordinating designer series paper to layer on the base. On the card samples, the 6″ x 6″ Subtles Designer Series Paper Pack provides the background layer. Cut the layer to 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″.
- Stamp your designs onto 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ Whisper White cardstock to attach to the designer series paper layer.
- If desired, use the stamps and coordinating dies to add additional elements to your mini cards.
Bonus Project
Since the mini card pack would make an excellent gift, I decided to add a bonus project – an embellished 3-1/8″ x 3-1/8″ Acetate Card Box. The greenery for the top of the box uses the “twig” wreath die from the Wreath Builder Dies. After cutting the wreath shape, use paper snips to cut the wreath in half and layer the two halves. For extra dimension, sponge ink onto the wreath before cutting. For the sample below, Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink is sponged onto the Pear Pizzazz cardstock wreath. Select the sentiment you desire and add it to a banner created with the Banner Pick A Punch.

If you want a stamp set and coordinating dies that offer you lots of options, be sure to add the Arrange A Wreath Bundle to your must-have list! You’ll be glad you have the set. Stay tuned – I’ll be sharing more projects from the presentation soon.

Sep 16, 2020 | August-December 2020 Mini Catalog, Bundles, Celebration Tidings, Cellophane Bags, Gift Bags, Gifts, Gilded Autumn Specialty, Quick & Easy, Treat Holders, Uncategorized |
Since transitioning to virtual card classes due to the pandemic, registrants receive a “little something” extra with the kits. This month, an autumn theme bag topper added to a Mosaic Gusseted Cellophane Bag was perfect for the special treat. Even better, the bag topper is quick to make using the Celebration Labels Dies. The dies and Celebration Tidings Stamp Set are available together in the Celebration Tidings Bundle. For an autumn theme, the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Paper is ideal.

Bag Topper Tips:
For creating a bag topper, the Celebration Labels Dies offer a range of sizes so you can create toppers for a variety of bag sizes. Just lay a die across the top of the bag to determine the size needed. After die cutting your designer series paper or cardstock, place the label on your scoring board aligning the notches on the label and score to create the fold line. To seal bag top, use Stampin’ Seal+ on the label and fold across the bag opening. As noted, I used the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper for my project bag toppers. The designer series paper is perfect for an autumn theme bag topper.
For the autumn theme treat bag, a coordinating gift tag is added to the bag topper. Cut one end of a 3-1/4″x 3/4″ piece of Very Vanilla cardstock using the Banners Pick A Punch. Then, stamp the “just for you” from the Celebration Tidings Stamp Set onto the tag using Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Pad. Using the Autumn Punch Pack, cut leaves and acorns from the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper. Add the leaves to the tag with glue dots and use a Stampin’ Dimensional on the acorn. Next, add a small bow to the gift tag. To finish, use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the gift tag.
Creating bag toppers using the Celebration Labels Dies is quick and easy! Adding this special touch to a cellophane bag elevates the simplest treat. With upcoming holidays, consider ordering the Celebration Tidings Bundles so you can quickly turn a “little something” into “something special”!

Sep 4, 2020 | 3-D, August-December 2020 Mini Catalog, Banner Year, Boxes, Bundles, Designer Series Paper, Little Treat Boxes, Little Treats, Plaid Tidings, Uncategorized |
Happy Friday! As promised, today I’m sharing the project details from Wednesday evening’s Facebook Live. The bundles, Little Treats meets Banner Year, combine to create adorable treat holders. First, thank you to those that watched the presentation! Despite a few technical glitches, I felt it important to continue and demonstrated the treat boxes below. Second and good news, I learned how to correct the glitch. As a result, going forward, my Facebook Lives should be in landscape position. It’s a learning process and important to not give up but keep trying. Right?!
Now, on to the projects. As mentioned in the demonstration, I love making treat holders and the Little Treats Bundle is great for doing so. The Little Treat Box Dies from the bundle creates an ideal sized treat box when you want to give “a little something”. Even better, use the Banner Year Bundle and the creative possibilities grow exponentially. So, what will fit in the treat boxes? In addition to small candies or packages of small cookies, the Bath & Body Works small hand sanitizers fit perfectly. In this post, I’m sharing 6 different designs combining the two bundles but have other ideas that I’ll share later. For the projects, the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper provides a wide variety of plaid color combinations making it a perfect selection for making the treat boxes.

Assembly & Tips:
- This is a great project for using your scrap cardstock! Though I’m providing dimensions, in most cases, just grab small pieces from your scrap pile.
- Treat boxes can be left open or select coordinating ribbons to tie closed.
For the first step, use the Little Treat Box Die to cut the 6″ x 6″ Plaid Designer Series. Then, assemble the treat boxes. If desired, add adhesive to the front and back panels to hold the panels fixed against the inside box.
From a 1″ x 1″ scrap of Basic Black cardstock, use the spider die from the Little Treat Box Dies to cut a spider. After cutting the spider, use Clear Wink of Stella to add shimmer to the spider body and add two small Basic Rhinestone Jewels for the eyes. On a 1-3/4″ x 1-3/4″ piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamp the Happy, Happy Halloween sentiment from the Little Treats stamp set using Blackberry Bliss Classic Stampin’ Pad. Then, stamp the web from the Banner Year Stamp Set using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad on the upper corner. Use the 1-1/2″ circle punch to cut. Use the stitched and scalloped circle die from the Little Treat Box Dies to cut from a 2″ x 2″ piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock. Adhere the stamped sentiment circle to the Daffodil Delight scalloped circle and add the spider using a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional. Add to the front of the treat box using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp BOO! (from the Banner Year Stamp Set) using Pumpkin Pie Classic Stampin’ Pad onto a 1-3/4″ x 1-3/4″ piece of Whisper White cardstock. Cut using the 1-1/2″ circle punch. Above the word BOO, stamp the Bat (Banner Year Stamp Set) using the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. Stamp another bat onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock and fussy cut. Layer atop the stamped bat on the Whisper White using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Attach to a Scalloped Circle (Little Treat Box Dies) cut from Pumpkin Pie cardstock.
Cut each end of a 1″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Whisper White cardstock using the Banners Pick A Punch. After punching the ends, stamp multiple leaves on the right side using Pumpkin Pie Classic Ink Pad – TIP: after inking stamp – “stamp off” onto a scrap piece of paper 2 times before stamping onto the tag. NOTE: All stamps for are from the Banner Year Stamp Set. Stamp the pumpkin using the Pumpkin Pie Classic Ink Pad onto the left side of the tag and also onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock. Stamp the pumpkin stem and the Happy Fall Y’all using Mossy Meadow Classic Ink Pad. Fussy cut the extra pumpkin and add atop the pumpkin on the tag using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Create the banner tag by cutting a one end of a 1/2″ x 3″ strip of Whisper White cardstock using the Banners Pick A Punch. Using the Happy Thanksgiving stamp from the Banner Year Stamp Set, stamp the sentiment using Pretty Peacock Classic Stampin’ Pad close to the banner end. Ink the acorn stamp using Cinnamon Cider. Then, stamp off onto a scrap of paper before stamping beside the sentiment. Cut a 6″ piece of In-Color Bumblebee Ribbon and form a loop. Attach the ribbon loop to the treat box and add the banner tag using dimensionals.
Create banners: Real Red cardstock (3″ x 1″) and Whisper White cardstock (2-3/4″ x 3/4″). Stamp “be merry” onto the Whisper White tag using Real Red Classic Ink Pad. Stamp the Holly using Shaded Spruce Classic Ink Pad. For the holly berries, stamp using Real Red and then add Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels atop the stamped berries. Layer the stamped tag onto the Real Red cardstock tag and attach to treat box using dimensionals.
From the Little Treats Stamp Set, stamp HO HO HO Merry Christmas using Real Red Classic Ink Pad onto a 1″ x 2-1/4″ piece of Whisper White cardstock. Next, cut into the tag shape using the die from the Little Treat Box Dies. Now stamp the Santa Hat, also from the LIttle Treats Stamp Set, using Real Red onto a 1-1/4″ x 1-1/4″ piece of Whisper White cardstock. Cut using the coordinating die. Add Clear Wink of Stella to the “fur” rim and “pompom” of the hat. Attach hat to the corner of the sentiment tag using a Glue Dot. To highlight the tag, create a belly band by wrapping a 1-1/4″ x 6″ piece of Basic Black cardstock around the assembled treat box. Run a bone folder along each corner to help crease and form the band. To seal the belly band, use a strong adhesive such Stampin’ Seal+ or Tear & Tape. Add the sentiment tag to the belly band using dimensionals.
I had lots of fun creating the Little Treat Boxes and even more fun, creating a variety of tags for each. As noted earlier, there are possibilities galore when combining the Little Treats and the Banner Year Bundles. So, don’t delay and order these bundles so you can start creating fun treat boxes to have for the upcoming seasonal events. And one last thing, if you want to watch the video click here (remember, it was a learning process! forward thru the first two minutes where I’m attempting to adjust the view. And no, I won’t be offended if you laugh!)

Sep 1, 2020 | 3-D, 3D, August-December 2020 Mini Catalog, Bundles, Cards, Halloween, Hallows Night Magic Bundle, Magic In This Night, Product Suites, Tutorials, Uncategorized |

It’s a new month and to kick it off, we have the September 3D Tutorial Bundle! We have the talented Patti Dolan joining us as a guest designer for this month’s tutorial bundle. In addition to the tutorial bundle, the team is featuring a blog hop! We’re each sharing a second project created using the same products to coordinate with our tutorial project. Now for a Sneak Peek of the September 3D projects…

Here’s my bonus project to coordinate with my September 3D tutorial project. It’s a “spidery” Halloween card featuring the Magic in this Night Suite.

Card Details:
- Create a card base using Blackberry Bliss cardstock (5-1/2″ x 11″, scored and folded at 4-1/4″).
- Next, cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock to 4″ x 5-1/4″. Texture emboss using the Cobwebs 3D Embossing Folder. After embossing, use a light touch to apply Clear Wink of Stella across the web.
- Cut two pieces of the 1-1/2″ Metallic Mesh Ribbon approximately 6-1/2″. Pull and stretch the ribbon to slightly widen. Then, wrap one of the pieces across the center of the Basic Black layer and adhere. With the other piece of ribbon, tie around the ribbon attached and wrap to the back of the card. Use Stampin’ Seal to adhere. See photo below –

- Add the “web” layer to the card base using Stampin’ Seal adhesive.
- Using the labels dies in the Halloween Magic Dies, cut a piece of the Magic In This Night Designer Series Paper (4-1/2″ x 3″). NOTE: Place the smaller die inside of the larger die to cut a frame to use on the card interior.

- Stamp Happy Halloween from the Hallows Magic Night Stamp Set onto a 3/4″ x 3-1/4″ strip of Whisper White cardstock using Blackberry Bliss Classic Stampin’ Pad. Add to the center of the small label using Stampin’ Seal and attach to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamp one large spider and two small spiders from the Hallows Night Magic Stamp Set using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Cut the large spider with the coordinating die from the Halloween Magic Dies and fussy cut the two small spiders. Add Iridescent Pearls to each of the spider bodies.
- To complete the card, add the spiders to the card front. Note: use Glue Dots for the 2 small spiders and a Stampin’ Dimensional for the large spider.
Card Interior:

The Magic In This Night Suite offers lots of creative options for Halloween projects. If you’re a fan of Halloween, you’ll want to add the suite to your craft supplies.

Perfect for creating fall themed cards is the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper. It’s a beautiful paper collection. The Beautiful Autumn Bundle from the suite includes the Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set and the coordinating Autumn Punch Pack. Woohoo – the punch pack coordinates with the leaves and acorns in the specialty designer series paper. Y’all know I love it when a punch or die coordinates with the designer series paper!
