For today’s post, I’m sharing the Happy Fall Y’all! card made in the October card class. The card is a project from a recent online workshop that I attended. I did make a few alterations – changing the sentiment and layer measurements but the card design is by Melanie Hockin. The multiple layers and the wreath shape creates lots of visual interest. Project Materials for Happy Fall Y’all Wreath Card:
Thick Very Vanilla Cardstock (5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, score and fold at 4-1/4” for card base)
Cajun Craze Cardstock (3” x 3”)
Very Vanilla Cardstock (3-1/4” x 4-1/2”, 3” x 3”)
Mint Macaron Cardstock (3-1/2” x 4-3/4”)
Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper (Cajun Craze background: 3-3/4” x 5”; Mint Macaron and Cajun Craze scraps to punch leaves)

Metallic Ribbon from the Basket Weave/Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack
Directions:
Layer the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Mint Macaron cardstock onto the Thick Very Vanilla card base.
Texture emboss the 3-1/4” x 4-1/2” Very Vanilla cardstock with the Greenery Embossing Folder. Adhere to the Mint Macaron layer on the card base.
Die cut a layering scalloped circle from Cajun Craze cardstock and a layering circle from Very Vanilla cardstock. Adhere together and add to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Attach a gold hoop to the center of the Very Vanilla circle.
Arrange veneer elements around the hoop and circle. TIP:gently snap off a short stem from a veneer element and add it inside the hoop. Attach the elements with mini glue dots.
Layer and attach leaves onto the left side of the gold hoop.
Embellish with a small ribbon bow.
Stamp sentiment onto strip of Very Vanilla cardstock using the Cajun Craze Classic Stampin’ Pad. Attach to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper contains beautiful prints making it easy to select a color palette for card fall themed designs. Adding multiple layers along with texture embossing also elevates a card and is a great way to “take it up a notch.” Good tips to remember when you want to make an extra special card!

One of the card’s in today’s to-go card class features a Plaid Stitched Leaf. I’m loving the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper. Though the name implies Christmas, the wide array of colors makes it perfect for a variety of occasions. The colors selected from the plaid design for the class card features Cinnamon Cider and Mango Melody. The plaid stitched leaf pulls the design together. With the many plaid designs, you have a range of color selections to use.
Project Materials:
Cinnamon Cider Cardstock (4-1/4” x 11”, score at 5-1/2” and fold for card base)
Whisper White Cardstock (2 pcs: 4” x 5-1/4”; ½” x 3” for banner label)
Mango Melody Cardstock (5” x 3-3/4”)
Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper (3” x 3”)

Cinnamon Cider Classic Ink Pad
Pick A Banner Punch
Cinnamon Cider ¼” In Color Ribbon (3-1/4”)
Stitched Leaves Dies
Directions:
Adhere a piece of the 4” x 5-1/4” Whisper White cardstock to the Cinnamon Cider card base.
Using the large stitched leaf die (and the center of the leaf); cut a stitched leaf on the upper portion of the Mango Melody cardstock.
Add the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper piece to the back of the Mango Melody so that it’s framed by the leaf cutout. Adhere to the Whisper White layer on the card base.
Using the banner punch, create a banner label using the strip of Whisper White cardstock.
Stamp the “with a grateful heart” sentiment from the Banner Year Stamp Set onto the banner label using the Cinnamon Cider Classic Ink Pad.
Add the Cinnamon Cider ribbon to the card front centered in the area below the leaf cutout. Attach the sentiment banner atop the ribbon using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
For the card interior, add the stitched leaf to the Whisper White cardstock.
Change the plaid pattern, the base colors and the leaf die used and you’ll have a variety of cards! It’s easy to quickly create a card set for gifting (or keeping for yourself to use).

Have you started making your holiday cards? If not, you’ll want to consider the Arrange A Wreath Merry Christmas card I’m sharing. It’s one of the holiday card designs that I’ll be using as Christmas approaches. The design is an Arrange A Wreath Merry Christmas card and is from my Guest Stamper presentation for the Luv 2 Stamp team. In previous posts, I provided you with other ideas for using this versatile stamp set and die bundle. The Arrange A Wreath Merry Christmas card is one of my favorite projects using the bundle. The Merry Merlot and Brushed Metallic cardstocks along with the Gold Cards & Envelopes create an elegant card.
Card Details:
With Arrange A Wreath dies, cut 2 leaf dies from the gold Brushed Metallic cardstock and one twig die from the Merry Merlot cardstock.
Using the largest flower die (6 petal flower); cut 6 flowers from the Merry Merlot cardstock.
Spritz the Merry Merlot flowers and twig wreath with the Champagne Mist. (Does not show in photo but the spritzing adds a special glimmer touch!) After drying, layer two of the flowers together using a glue dot to hold the layers (creating 3 poinsettia flowers).
Next, stamp 5 leaves using Old Olive Classic Ink Pad onto Old Olive cardstock and cut with the coordinating die.
Create a 3 layer wreath:
Attach the Merry Merlot twig wreath atop one of the gold leaf wreaths taking note to offset the twigs with the leaves. TIP: use small dots of Multipurpose Liquid Glue along the circle line of the wreath to adhere the wreath.
Next, add the adhesive to the back of the remaining gold leaf wreath and layer it atop the Merry Merlot wreath. AGAIN – offset the placement so the leaves aren’t lined up with one another.
Add Mini Stampin’ Dimensions to the back of the wreath and add to the top portion of the card base.
Attach leaves to the poinsettia flowers using glue dots. Arrange flowers and add to the wreath with glue dots.
Finish the flowers by adding Gold Glimmer Enamel Dots to the center of each flower.
Use the Detailed Trio Punch to punch the design on each end of the Merry Merlot cardstock for the sentiment label.
Next, stamp “Merry Christmas” using Merry Merlot onto a strip of Very Vanilla. Then, attach to the Merry Merlot strip and add to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
If you want to create a special card, look at the Arrange A Wreath bundle for lots of possibilities. I’ve been cutting additional wreaths to use for creating more Merry Christmas cards. So when the time arrives to start mailing my holiday cards, I can quickly assemble. And best of all, using the beautiful Gold Cards and Envelopes saves lots of time!

Like many, I have adjusted my card classes and am currently offering “to go” card kits for use with a virtual class. Each month, I like to include a small surprise. For the upcoming class, participants are receiving apple caramels. Naturally, an apple tag had to be created! The task was super simple using the Harvest Hellos Stamp Set and the coordinating Apple Builder Punch which was great since I had numerous to make. I had lots of fun stamping, coloring and punching.
Apple Tag Details:
Using the Harvest Hellos Cling Stamp Set, stamp the apple using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto Whisper White cardstock. For the red apple, color using the Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers and for the green apple, use the Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers. To add additional color variation, the Light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Marker was swiped in the center of the apples. (It doesn’t show up in photo but by adding a slight tinge of the yellow creates brightness on the apple) Punch the colored apples, using the coordinating Apple Builder Punch. Punch the stem using scraps of Early Espresso cardstock and the leaves using scraps of Brushed Metallic cardstock. Add the stem and leaves to the apple using mini glue dots.
For the tag: Use the Delightful Tag Topper Punch to cut one end of a 2″ x 3″ piece of Garden Green Cardstock. After cutting tag, texture emboss using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. Add the apple to the tag using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Complete by stamping the sentiment onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock using the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. With Paper Snips, trim around the sentiment. Add to the apple using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Fill your treats, tie the bag top and adhere to the bag. Tie a bow using Braided Linen Trim and add to the tag using glue dots. Note: add the bow where the hole is in the tag top.
I had fun coloring the stamped apples and was able to multitask, coloring while watching television! Oh, be sure to look for the Werther’s Soft Apple Caramels – they are delicious! Be sure to save a few for the treat bags with the coordinating Apple Tag!
