School’s back in session for my grandson, Alex. Well, sort of back in session! Currently, all classes are virtual so he’s spending lots of time online. There’s disappointment that in-person class and meeting new classmates isn’t occurring. As I did in the Spring, I’m assisting Alex with the new online learning platform while both parents are working. So, my blog posting schedule is off sync a bit. Hoping to be back on schedule next week. To keep Alex’s spirits uplifted, I made a little treat box to give him after one of his online sessions this week. Using the Little Treats Bundle, the treat box was quick and easy to make. And it’s the perfect size for a couple of small treats!
Additional details:
The Plaid Tidings 6″x 6″ Designer Series Paper is cut using the Little Treat Box Dies from the Little Treats Bundle. After cutting the treat box, fold along the score lines and tuck the tabs into the slits to form the box. The front and back flaps can be closed by a ribbon tie or if desired, add a small amount of adhesive along the side to adhere to the box. To embellish the box, cut two leaves using the Stitched Leaves Dies. For the leaves to coordinate with the plaid designer series paper, Cajun Craze and a Brushed Metallic cardstock were selected. Next, stamp the sentiment from the Little Treats Stamp Set using Pretty Peacock Classic Stampin’ Pad onto a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock. The stitched, scalloped circle in the Little Treats Box Dies is the perfect size for the sentiment.

Project Materials:

The project today is a triple panel floral card. When I need to make multiple cards of one design, I like to use panels of repeat designs. The repeat designs can either be stamped images or designer series paper images. So for this card, the Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper provides the repeat floral design. Notice the texture? Each of the panels is texture embossed using the Subtle 3D embossing folder.
Recreating the card:
Create a card base using Poppy Parade cardstock cut 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
Cut 3 strips of Just Jade cardstock: 4″ x 1-11/16″.
Cut 3 strips of the Flowers for Everything Designer Series Paper: 3-7/8″ x 1-9/16″.
Attach the designer series paper to the Just Jade cardstock strips. Then, texture embellish using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
Evenly space the layered strips onto the card base front and attach using Stampin’ Seal Adhesive.
Stamp the sentiment from the Meant to Be Stamp Set onto a 2-1/2″ x 1-1/2″ piece of Whisper White cardstock. Then cut using the Stitched Shapes Dies (2nd smallest oval).
Using the 2nd largest oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies, cut a 3-1/4″ x 2-1/4″ piece of Just Jade cardstock. Next, add the sentiment label using Stampin’ Seal.
Add the layered sentiment label to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Embellish with the Crushed Curry resin dots from the Playing with Patterns Resin Dots. Then add a Just Jade Ribbon bow.
You can use the triple panel card design for portrait or landscape cards. Plus, adjusting your sentiment label and adding a few more embellishments enables you many design possibilities.

In my last post, photos of the Gilded Autumn Suite from the August – December Mini Catalog were shared. So for today’s post, I am sharing one of the cards I have made using products from the suite. There’s much to like in this suite but the Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper is absolutely gorgeous! The elegant designs in earthy colors and papers with copper and gold foil make it difficult to decide which side of the paper you want to use. Even better, is that some of the images can be cut using the Autumn Punch Pack. Combine the designer series paper with the Beautiful Autumn Bundle, add the Acorn Trinkets and the Basket Weave & Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack and you’ve got lots to use for designing Fall card and projects.
For my project, I am using three designs from the Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper. Notice how well the different patterns blend together? The Mint Macaron, Cajun Craze and Early Espresso combine to provide a beautiful color scheme.
Recreating the card:
Card base is Cajun Craze cut 5-1/2″ x 11″, scored at 4-1/4″ and folded.
The Gilded Autumn Designer Series layers are: 5-1/4″ x 4″, 5-1/4″ x 1-1/4″ and 2″ x 3-1/2″. Add the layers to the card base using Stampin’ Seal.
Stamp the sentiment from the Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set onto a 3/4″ x 3″ strip of Very Vanilla cardstock using Cajun Craze Classic Stampin’ Pad. Cut decorate ends on the sentiment label using the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch.
On a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock, stamp two oak leaves using Mint Macaron Classic Stampin’ Pad and one maple leaf using Cajun Craze Classic Stampin’ Pad. TIP: when stamping the interior of each leaf, stamp off one time onto a scrap of paper before stamping inside the outline image.
After stamping the leaves, use the coordinating punches from the Autumn Punch Pack to cut.
Add the label to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals (refer to photo for placement).
Complete by embellishing with the cut leaves and adding a small bow tied using the Copper Metallic Ribbon from the Basket Weave & Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack.
Of course, don’t forget to embellish the envelope and the card interior!

It’s a new month and to kick it off, we have the August 3D Tutorial Bundle! In addition to the tutorial bundle, the team is featuring a blog hop! We’re each sharing a second project created using the same products to coordinate with our tutorial project. You’ll find the blog hop links at the bottom of this post. This month, the team is featuring products from the Nothing’s Better Than Bundle.

Now for a Sneak Peek of the August 3D projects…
For me, my coordinating project is the perfect card! I’ve been known to partake in the guilty pleasures all in the same day, especially the past few months! Can you relate?
Card Details:
The card base uses the Misty Moonlight cardstock (4-1/4″ x 11″, scored & folded at 5-1/2″).
Next, add Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper (5-1/4″ x 4″) to the card base.
With a 5″ x 3-3/4″ piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamp the words: Coffee, Cookies, Chocolate and Cocktails using Granny Apple Green Classic Stampin’ Pad. TIP: use the Stamparatus to align and space the words. Be sure to leave enough space for the images beside the word. Add to the Artistry Blooms layer using Stampin’ Seal.
Using scrap pieces of Whisper White cardstock, stamp the coffee cup, the cookie, the chocolate and the cocktail.
For the coffee cup, stamp the cup outline using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. For the cup interior, use the Misty Moonlight Classic Stampin’ Pad but stamp off onto a scrap of paper before stamping the cup interior.
Stamp the cookie and the chocolate outline using Soft Suede Classic Ink Pad and again, stamp off with the ink for the solid interior stamps.
For the cocktail glass outline, use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. And for the beverage in the glass, use Misty Moonlight Classic Stampin’ Pad and stamp off twice before stamping in the cocktail glass outline. Use Petal Pink Light Stampin’ Blends Marker to color the umbrella and Daffodil Delight Light Stampin’ Blends Marker to color the lemon slice.
With the coordinating Love You More Than dies, cut the stamped coffee cup, cookie, chocolate and cocktail. Add to the card using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
For the sentiment phrases, cut strips of Granny Apple Green cardstock (5/8″ x 1-5/8″ and 5/8″ x 1-7/8″). Stamp the phrases onto the strips using the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink pad and to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To complete the interior, use a 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of Whisper White cardstock. Then, stamp the phrase using the Tuxedo Black and repeat the process from above for the cocktail glass.
