Today’s card is another from the recent class featuring fun fold cards. It’s a design that I saw some time ago and then again recently. So, I decided to use the fun fold to showcase the beautiful Expressions In Ink Designer Series Paper. In addition, the coordinating Artistically Inked Bundle from the Expressions In Ink Suite adds the perfect embellishment. This fun fold design is a great for showcasing designer series papers and helps to “clear your stash”! Though I am calling it a “fun fold”, don’t you think it’s really a “fancy fold”?
Materials for the Expressions In Ink Fun Fold Card:
- Expressions In Ink Designer Series Paper (select 2 coordinating design patterns)
- from one pattern, cut the following:
- 3-1/2″ x 5-1/2″
- 1″ x 5-1/2″
- 1″ x 5-1/2″
- from second pattern, cut the following:
- 3-1/2″ x 5-1/2″
- 1-1/2″ x 5-1/2″
- from one pattern, cut the following:
- Coordinating Cardstock for Base
- 5-1/2″ x 11″ – score at 1-1/4″, 5-1/2″ & 9-1/4″
- 1-1/4″ x 9-1/2″ for belly band
- Basic White Cardstock: 5-1/2″ x 4″ (for interior), 2-3/4″ x 2-1/2″ (for sentiment label) and scrap for stamping flower & leaves
- Artistically Inked Bundle
- Inks:
- Pale Papaya Classic Ink Pad
- Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink Pad (or other green to coordinate with paper selected)
- Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
- Scalloped Contours Dies (for sentiment label)
- Pale Papaya & White 1/2″ Ribbon
- Champagne Rhinestones
