The new In-Colors this year are going to be so much fun to play with.  Our Purple Posy color may not be available once ordering goes live today.  Stampin’ Up! is working on the quality of the item and will have it available for purchase as soon as possible.  All of the new colors have so much potential.  I’m already having fun with Pretty Peacock.  It’s fun to be creative and blend the new colors to see what combinations you can come up with.

A Peek at the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper

The 2019-2020 Annual Catalog launches on June 4.  So, I am sharing a peek at the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper.  The Magnolia Lane Designer Series paper is stunning and is as beautiful as blooming Magnolia trees.  I am participating in a designer series paper swap with several other demonstrators.  Today’s card is the card prepared for the swap.  It features three of the paper’s coordinating designs.  Additionally, the sentiment is one of the stamps in the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set.  Do you notice the magnolia bud by the sentiment?  The coordinating Magnolia Memory Dies cut the bud from one of the designer series papers perfectly.  Be sure to add this bundle to your Shopping List.

Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper

Card Details:
  • The card base (5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ score & fold at 4-1/4″)  and the oval for the sentiment are Petal Pink cardstock.
  • Cut a piece of the floral pattern of the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper to 5-1/4″ x 4″.
  • For the next layer, cut Mossy Meadow cardstock to a size of 4-1/4″ x 3″.
  • The stripe layer of designer series paper is 4″ x 2-3/4″.  Attach to the Mossy Meadow cardstock layer.
  • Use the Magnolia Memories die to cut a magnolia bud from the designer series paper.
  • With the smaller open cut leaf, cut three leaves from Vellum cardstock.  Layer the 3 leaves behind the bud as shown in the photo.
  • Stamp the sentiment onto a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  Cut using an oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies.   Layer onto the Petal Pink cardstock oval cut using the Layering Ovals Dies.
  • Attach the sentiment piece to the striped designer series paper layer using stampin’ dimensionals.
  • Embellish with a bow tied using the Mossy Meadow twine in the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack.
  • The final embellishment is a scattering of three Basic Adhesive Backed Sequins in Sahara Sand color.

Something Exciting is coming

Something exciting is coming and I can’t wait.  New Cling Stamps are coming!!!

It’s also going to be a new way to stamp.  No falling off the block and great images every time.
With the new cling stamps, they will never fall off.  The adhesive is strong and makes every stamping experience a great one.  Get your crisp images with one stamp.  Then you can simply remove the stamp and pick a new one.

The new stamps arrive in January 2019 with the Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure.  While the stamps in the 2018-2019 annual catalog will continue to be available in clear-mount, wood-mount, or photopolymer, all new stamp sets will be available either in cling (for red rubber stamps) or photopolymer

Red rubber stamp sets (clear-mount or wood-mount) in the annual catalog that will be carrying over.  They will transition to cling with the 2019-2020 annual catalog.  Take a look at the cute video below introducing the Cling Stamps.

Watch for more information about carryover stamp sets in April 2019 with the regularly scheduled communication about catalog transitions, the carryover list, and the retiring products list.  The transition period will come first and more information will follow.

Lastly, in the 2019-2020 annual catalog, our clear-mount and wood-mount stamps will no longer be available. There will also be more detailed information coming so stay tuned.

New Specialty Papers

Specialty Papers are always popular and I do have a rising favorite in the new Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut.  Also, it’s perfect for creating beautiful and elegant projects.  While it’s only one of the Specialty Papers, it can also be a beautiful accent to that special card.  Take a look at this card I created using the new paper as well as a variety of other new products from the annual catalog.  Simple and Elegant.

Delightfully Detailed DSP with Grapefruit Grove

This card was also created using the Love What You Do stamp set and one of our brand new colors – Grapefruit Grove.  I really love this shade of orange and am so glad we have an additional option.  It’s soothing and so natural.  As with many new products, I bring you this lovely card to showcase these new products.  A perfect example of how you can use just a portion of the Specialty paper.  Simply add the paper alongside the edges leaving the bottom right for the sentiment.  It makes a statement.  Keeping the colors to just the Grapefruit Grove and white help with the simplicity.

Specialty Papers

Remember, this is only one of our new Specialty Papers.  The new catalog is chock full of many great new papers to choose from for your crafting journey.  Sometimes the new catalog can be a lot to take in and I’m happy to share some inspiration.  Furthermore, it gives me the opportunity to play with the new products as well.  In addition to the new papers, you get to explore the new colors in the form of our color revamp.  I love that Stampin’ Up! keeps our colors fresh and trendy.   I hope you have enjoyed the inspiration today.  I know I enjoyed creating it.  Give the paper a try and see how you enjoy working with it.  Here are the products use to create this card:

New Catalog Launch

It’s that time of year again, the New Catalog is here!

The new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog will be live today at 12noon MT, which means at 2:00pm here on the east coast you can start placing your orders.  I know you cannot wait to see everything the new catalog has in store.  It’s Stampin’ Up!’s 30th anniversary and it shows in all the beautiful new products.  One of the most anticipated products is the Stamparatus.  If you were not able to get it during the pre-order a few months ago, you can order it now.  Here is a brief video from Stampin’ Up! with more information about the Stamparatus:

You Can Now Get the Stamparatus

In addition, I want to share with you a sample card below that was created using the Stamparatus.  This great tool is a much needed addition to my craft room, and I’m sure you will think so too.   What a pleasant experience to stamp with such precision.  As a result, you will be able to take you stamping to the next level.  Since you control where you place the stamps, you can also control the pressure used to stamp the image.  There is a rubber mat to use with Photopolymer stamps as well.

Notice the greeting in the bottom corner stamped on each side.   What I like most of all is the ability to line up all my stamps on the cardstock.  Whether it’s inside the card or outside the card, having everything line up gives the card a crisp look.  The design of the Stamparatus allows you to use any size cardstock.  This makes it possible to use it with scrapbooking as well as card making.

Grab your favorite coffee or tea and sink into your favorite chair while you explore all the wonderful new products.  Let me know if I can be of any assistance as you create that wish list.
