Oh my, I created this post last week and forgot to post it! So instead of Christmas in July project two, I’m sharing Christmas in July 2024 Project One. Project two will post next Tuesday with project three on the schedule for next Friday.
It’s Christmas in July! Project one is a holiday card featuring the new Filled with Cheer Stamp Set. The stamp set is a new Online Exclusive product from Stampin’ Up! The snowman, sled and Christmas tree are perfect for sending holiday greetings. These images along with images of gifts and poinsettias are perfect to color using a variety of coloring tools. Do you notice the background paper? It’s another new Online Exclusive so visit my store to see all the recently released products. Though it’s going to be warm, the humidity is low so definitely a day to enjoy the outdoors. Wow! Can you believe we’re approaching the end of May? It’s been an interesting month here in Georgia as for the past month, we have been serenaded by the cicadas. The 13 year and 17 year made a joint appearance. In addition to their loud noise, it wasn’t unusual to have one or more fly into you when outdoors. Fortunately this week it has quieted, so it seems the mating ritual has ended in Georgia. Were the cicadas present where you live? Now onto details about today’s card…
Today’s project features products from the Flowering Zinnia Suite Collection which includes the Simply Zinnia Bundle. The Flowering Zinnia Designer Series Paper and the 3D Zinnia Embossing Folder. These products are Online Exclusives meaning the products are available to view in the online Stampin’ Up! store and not in a catalog. For the May card classes (in person and kits to go classes), all Online Exclusive bundles were used.
This fun fold card design is unique. It looks like a regular card but when opened, there’s a side panel. And of course, the side panel allows for more embellishing!

Although the Sale-a-bration promotion ended in February and we’re closing out the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog from Stampin’ Up!, I’m still showing “some love” to Sale-a-bration products! This vintage style card features the beautiful Detailed Dogwood Stamp Set which was one of the free Sale-a-bration products. This card is one of four cards from the April card class. There just weren’t enough months to use the products and hey, we’ve earned them so we must use them. Right?! Hopefully, you were able to earn this stamp set and will find inspiration with this card design.

Pebbled Path Cardstock: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ (score/fold at 4-1/4″ for card base)
Bubble Bath Cardstock: cut 2 at 4″ x 5-1/4″; scrap for stamping desired sentiment
Basic White Cardstock: cut 2 at 3-3/4″ x 5″
Thick Basic White Cardstock: 3-1/4″ x 4″ for stamping dogwood (or use regular Basic White)

The new 2024-2025 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog is coming soon! On May 1, you’ll be able to purchase products such as this new Hearts & Hugs bundle. As a demonstrator, we’re offered the opportunity to purchase select products a month prior to their release. One such product is the adorable Hearts & Hugs Bundle. (Remember a bundle includes the stamp set and the coordinating dies – by purchasing as a bundle, you save 10%.) The different characters are cute but I especially like the sentiments in the stamp set. We all need a hug once in awhile and the bundle is a great way to send a hug via a greeting card.
For today’s card, I opted to use the pair of walruses from the Hearts & Hugs Bundle. Just look at the faces of the walruses! Doesn’t it make you feel warm & fuzzy?
Notice the pink? It’s one of the new 2024-2026 In-Colors, called Pretty In Pink and is also “coming soon.” The pink is a “true pink” and pairs with a wide variety of the Stampin’ Up! colors. Today, I’ve paired it with Pecan Pie.

It’s time to share another card from the February Perennial Lavender card class. Unlike the previously shared fun fold cards from the class, the “You’re Simply Marvelous Perennial Lavender Card” is a standard size (4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″). A variety of products are being used from the Perennial Lavender Suite Collection and the large Paper Butterfly Embellishment highlights the sentiment panel.
