Happy Monday. Hope your week is off to a good beginning. Today I’m sharing the make ‘n take, A Snowman Merry Christmas, from the recent Stamping Bingo. The Snowman Season Bundle along with the coordinating Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper pair beautifully to create the card. The Snowman Season Bundle contains the Snowman Season Stamp Set and the coordinating Snowman Builder Punch. Do you notice the sparkle of the snowman on the card? It’s actually cut from the Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper. I just love it when designer series paper contains images that coordinate with a punch or die.
Steps for recreating the Snowman Merry Christmas card:
Start with a standard card base of Coastal Cabana cardstock.
Cut a 5-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ piece of the striped paper from the Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper.
With the snowflake stamp from the Snowman Season Stamp Set, randomly stamp snowflakes on the Designer Series Paper using Coastal Cabana Stampin’ Pad. Then, layer onto a 5-1/2″ x 3-3/4″ piece of Real Red cardstock.
Next, wrap a piece of Real Red 3/8″ Cotton Ribbon around lower portion of card and tie a knot.
Attach to the Coastal Cabana card base with adhesive.
With the Snowman Builder Punch, cut the glitter snowman from the Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper. Notice also that one of the Designer Series Papers has the hat that matches with the punch. Also, punch the hat. Use a scrap of Basic Black cardstock to cut the snowman arms. Assemble the snowman using glue dots and attach to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the Merry Christmas sentiment onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock. Cut the sentiment and the Coastal Cabana scalloped oval using the Layering Ovals Dies. Adhere the sentiment to the scalloped oval and attach to the card front over the Real Red ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
See how easy it is to make a card with coordinating stamps, punches and paper! Hope you will give it a try. The Snowman Season Bundle and coordinating Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper is great for Christmas. But don’t stop using it at Christmas! It’s also great for Winter Themed cards and crafts.
Thanks for stopping by. Happy crafting…

I’m back and featuring a fun Fall Gift Tag project. It’s one of those projects that appears to be more difficult than it is. Did you miss me? Last week was one of those weeks!!! The week began great with Stampin’ Bingo on Monday but after a fun filled day, the things seem to so haywire. At times I felt like I was a hamster in a wheel, going round and round but not advancing! I think we all have had such an experience at some point and it was my turn to go round and round last week. So, I decided to take a few days off with no blogging. It was refreshing to take a break. Good thing is this week has begun fantastic so I’m no longer “in the wheel” and am excited to share a project from Stampin’ Bingo.
I am a huge fan of Bath & Body Works products and often give their products as gifts. Naturally, a gift must be wrapped or embellished. So today’s product, hand soap, is bagged and embellished with a fun Fall gift tag. Since the hand soap is Pumpkin Apple, the Gather Together Bundle and the Harvest Hellos Bundle combine to fit the product’s theme.
Below is a closer view of the tag…
I just love combining the two bundles, Gather Together and Harvest Hellos. They coordinate well together. Since the name of the hand soap is Pumpkin Apple, I could have incorporated an apple instead of a pumpkin! Harvest Hellos is full of versatility.
Have fun creating a gift tag for your favorite Fall scents! The items used for today’s fun Fall gift tag are listed under Project Materials.

Happy Friday! Hope you’ve been having a good week. Fall temperatures finally arrived in Georgia so it sets the mood for Fall festivities. Today’s project, Halloween Coffin Treat Boxes, is perfect for Fall craft fairs or for giving treats to friendly Gremlins. The food safe Coffin Boxes in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog are easy to assemble. A variety of products in the Monster Bash Suite decorate the Halloween Coffin Treat Boxes shown below.
Details for the Coffin Halloween Treat Holder on the Left:
First, texture emboss the lid using the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder before assembling. Next, assemble the coffin top and bottom using a strong adhesive such as Tear & Tape or Mulitpurpose Liquid Adhesive. To add definition to the top, swipe the lid across the raised embossed areas using the Golden Glitz Delicata Metallic Ink Pad. Stamp the mummy and the sentiment from the Spooktacular Bash Stamp Set using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock. After stamping, cut using the coordinating Ornate Frames Dies. Also, use the dies to cut a scroll frame from Crushed Curry cardstock. To color the mummy, use either the Crumb Cake Stampin Write Marker or Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. For the border, use the Light Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends. Adhere the mummy piece to the Crushed Curry frame using Snail Adhesive. With stampin’ dimensionals, add the piece to the top of the coffin. Attach sentiment and bow. Almost forgot… for a fun touch, add Assorted Googly Eyes!
Details for the Coffin Halloween Treat Holder on the Right:
Start by assembling the coffin. Turn the coffin lid upside down and place onto the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper. Then, trace around the lid. Use paper snips to cut the lid around the traced area. After cutting, sponge the edges of the designer series paper using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Add to the coffin lid using multipurpose liquid adhesive. TIP: the multipurpose liquid adhesive allows time to make placement adjustments. With the Ornate Frames Dies, cut a large scroll from Pumpkin Pie cardstock and a smaller scroll using Basic Black cardstock. Layer the scrolls. Stamp the sentiment onto a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock and cut with the coordinating die. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach to the layered scrolls. Embellish with Basic Rhinestone Jewels and a Black Glitter Organdy ribbon bow. Add to the coffin lid.
Isn’t that easy? And yes, you still have time to order the Coffin Treat Holders and elements for embellishing before Halloween. For a list of the materials from today’s post, check out the Project Materials list below.

The Fall Fun Fold card is a change from the typical card design and “fun fold” definitely describes this card. The card is one of the samples from the September class and showcases products from both current Stampin’ Up! Catalogs. The Country Home Photopolymer Stamp Set can be found in the Annual Catalog on page 95. Though it’s a great set to use year round, the milk can with the cotton bolls floral arrangement reminds me of Fall. The Come To Gather Designer Series Paper, from the Holiday Catalog, is added on the front fold panel. Continue reading below the card photos for the card details.
Card Base:
First layer is Mint Macaron cardstock: 4-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
To create the slender folded panel, use Pretty Peacock cardstock. The size is 9-1/2″ x 2-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-3/4″.
Referring to photos for the placement, attach the Pretty Peacock panel to the Mint Macaron card base using adhesive.
Card Panels:
Cut two panels of Whisper White cardstock 4-1/2″ x 2-1/4″. On one of the panels, stamp the milk can using Basic Gray Classic Stampin’ Pad. Stamp the florals with Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Pad. Use Pretty Peacock Classic Stampin’ Pad for the sentiment. TIP: To make alignment and stamping easier, use the Stamparatus.
Use the following Stampin’ Blends: Smoky Slate (light & dark for the milk can), Mint Macaron (light & dark for leaves), Rich Razzleberry (dark for the berries), Daffodil Delight (dark for the center flower) and Cajun Craze (light and dark for the seed pods).
For the cotton bolls, add small touches of the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint and heat set. TIP: Work quickly as the puff paint is very thin (little goes a long way) and can dissolve the stamped image. I suggest doing a section at a time. Add a small amount of the Puff Paint, heat set and repeat. If you look closely at my photo, you’ll notice the stamped image started to dissolve giving a “dirty” appearance to the cotton bolls. Of course, cotton bolls aren’t all pristine white!
For the interior sentiment, stamp it with the Pretty Peacock on the other Whisper White panel. The sentiment is from the Country Home Stamp Set. If desired, stamp the wheat sheath from the Gather Together using Crushed Curry Classic Stampin’ Pad to the side of the sentiment.
To complete the card, add the panels to the Pretty Peacock fun fold piece with adhesive.
Hope you’ve enjoyed this Fall Fun Fold. Credit for the fun fold goes to Dawn Olchefske at DO Stamping with Dawn. She featured the fun fold on a project and I added the design to my “give it a try” list. Now you can add it to your list!
