At last month’s Luv 2 Stamp meeting, one of the make ‘n take projects included a Garden Lane Lotion Holder. Fellow team member, Cindee Wilkinson, created the team project and selected the Garden Lane Designer Series Paper for the project. The holder is wonderful! A 1-oz. tube of the Bath & Body Works hand lotion fits perfectly inside of the box. However, it is of ample size to hold other small gifts or treats. If you participate in craft sales, this is a must project for you to add to your list! It takes time to create and you can decorate it with a variety of tags.
Materials:
Garden Lane Designer Series Paper (4-1/2″ x 6″)
Delightful Tag Topper Punch
Whisper White Cardstock (scrap for tag and for 1″ circle )
Stitched Nested Labels Dies
Garden Green Classic Stampin’ Pad
Pressed Petals Washi Tape
Embossing Buddy
3/4″ circle punch
Perennial Essence Floral Center
Mossy Meadow cardstock (scraps for leaves)
Magnolia Memories Dies (for leaves dies) or use the Leaf Punch
Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set
Tags and More Accessory Kit (Copper Clip)
Mint Macaron 1/4″ Textile Ribbon
Adhesives: Tear & Tape, Mini Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals
You’ll find the directions for assembling the Garden Lane Lotion Holder on Cindee’s blog, Just Sponge It. Just click on the link to be taken to the lotion holder instructions.
To create the tag:
Stamp the desired sentiment from the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set using Garden Green Classic Stamp Pad onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock (approximately 2″ x 2-1/4″). Cut using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies. Cut 2 leaves from the Mossy Meadow cardstock using the Magnolia Memory Dies. Or, you may cut leaves using the leaf punch. From a scrap of Whisper White cardstock, punch a 1″ circle. Use the circle as a base for layering the Pressed Petals Washi Tape to create a flower.
TIP: After placing the first layer of 4 petals on the circle, dust the back of the exposed petals with the Embossing Buddy to remove the stickiness. Add next layer, and gently lift petals to apply dust from Embossing Buddy. The petals will stay curled upwards and not stick to the bottom layer.
Complete the flower by adding a Perennial Essence Floral Center. Add the two cut leaves to the back to the flower with mini glue dots and attach to the sentiment label using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Also use the dimensionals to attach the label to the lotion holder. Close the lotion holder using the Copper Clip. Tie a bow around the clip using the 1/4″ Mint Macaron Textile Ribbon.

Create this perfect Christmas Gift Bag for the holidays this year. Fill it with your goodies or small gifts and surprise that special someone. It’s so much fun to create personal gift bags during the holidays. I love creating personal hand-made packaging in addition to cards and gifts. It’s a sure sign of joy and gift giving during the holiday season. My heart is full of love for crafting. Let them know how much you care.
You can find Santa’s Bags on page 19 of the Holiday Catalog. They are perfect for crafting. First of all, this one is decorated using the tree stamp from Timeless Tidings and Garden Green ink (you can also use any dark green ink that you have on hand). Before stamping the bag, cut a piece of cardstock to insert inside of the bag to prevent ink bleed through and to provide better stamping surface.
To create the tag, I used the Better Together stamp set in the Annual Catalog and Cherry Cobbler ink for the greeting. I also used Garden Green ink for the tree. Stamp off the image onto a different paper and then stamp over the sentiment. Also, sponge the label edge with the Garden Green. Finally, use Cherry Cobbler twine from the Festive Farmhouse Cotton Twine Trio and wrap around the bag drawstring. The punches that were used are the Everyday Label & 1/8″ handheld.
All of these products are available in my online store. I know you will enjoy having this Christmas gift bag option for any last minute gift giving this holiday season. I always enjoy the faces of everyone that receives my special holiday packaging.
When I prepare for holidays and gift giving, I always appreciate holiday helpers. That is exactly what My Paper Pumpkin is. Sometimes they are cards, other times they are project ideas. Either way, to have something come to your door once a month and be your salvation is always a good thing. Because the holidays are so close, Stampin’ Up! is offereing a great deal on two great MPP kits, 15% off while supplies last. The Frights and Delights from last month and 2017’s November Back in Plaid are available for purchase at the discounted price, if you are a Paper Pumpkin subscriber.
I know Halloween is next week, but it’s a great sale to pick them up for next year or a last minute option. Here is the Frights and Delights subscription kit, and refill option.
Here is the Back in Plaid kit from November, 2017. I really think the little stockings are so adorable and you can decorate them any way you like. Here is the kit and refill option.
Both these kits will make gift giving easy.
So get your holiday helpers and be the envy of your friends through Halloween and Christmas.
Treats are always welcome and the packaging just kicks it up a notch. If you are not a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, you can subscribe here now and be able to purchase these kits as well. One great benefit of the Paper Pumpkin subscription is having it delivered right to your door. No muss, no fuss. Another benefit is the “all in one” feature of the products and directions. Open the box and go. The kids love them because they can make projects for their class. The instructions have step by step instructions and pictures to make it easy for the kids to participate. Get either of these kits from my online store.
Yes, that’s right. Holiday Inspiration just for you.
I’m so excited to bring you The 12 Weeks of Christmas. Starting in October, I will be sending a mini newsletter each week to bring you some holiday creativity and maybe a little inspiration. I want to provide you with an array of projects to help you on your holiday crafting journey this season. The newsletters will start on October 3rd and be sent out every Wednesday for 12 weeks.
The projects will include holiday cards, gift ideas, tags and packaging. Another great benefit is that these projects will not be available anywhere else. Therefore, you must be on my mailing list to have access to them. It’s a special perk for being a newsletter subscriber. All for you! Each newsletter will only contain the weekly project, recipe to re-create it and instructions on how to put it all together. The rest is up to you.
You must however, be signed up to receive my newsletters. These projects will only be available for a limited time through my newsletter. To sign up for this weekly newsletter, simply sign up on the newsletter link on the right side bar of my blog, or click here and add your email address.
It’s that easy. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the 12 Weeks of Christmas program.
