Candy Cane Holiday Card

Before I get into a brief description of today’s card, do you notice anything different on my blog?  I have a new header!  After 5+ years with my previous blog header, I decided it was time for an update.  Leave a comment and let me know what you think of the new look.

Now on to today’s project…the Candy Cane holiday card is one of the feature projects from this month’s class.  It is also a card featured in the monthly kit to-go.  The Candy Cane Dies and the Sweetest Christmas Designer Series Paper combine to create a beautiful card.  Best of all, the dies coordinate to cut the candy canes from the designer series paper.  Notice in the card photo below, the candy canes face opposite directions…yes, there are two candy cane dies to match! Plus if you purchase the Sweet Candy Cane Bundle which includes the stamp set and dies, there are candy canes stamps facing in opposite directions too. This offers great design flexibility.  I have prepared a video with assembly directions and a tip on adding shine to the candy canes.
