Last Minute Gift Wrap Idea

While wrapping the last of the Christmas gifts today, I had a couple small gifts needing packaging.  Off to my craft room to find something that would work…the Mini Pizza Boxes were perfect and by using a few other items in my craft room, the wrapping was done in record time.  Now all gifts are wrapped and stashed under the Christmas tree!

Quick Christmas Gift Packaging using Stampin’ Up! Mini Pizza Boxes
After assembling the pizza boxes and adding the gift, Stampin’ Up! Baker’s Twine was used to wrap around three of the boxes.  The center two boxes were wrapped multiple times with the Baker’s Twine, taped on the back and then the strands were separated on the front to appear like a tree.  Each was embellished with a tree topper!  The other was wrapped on all sides with the Baker’s Twine and then a Stitched Felt Embellishment was added.  On another of the boxes, two of the Boxwood Wreaths Embellishments were unwound and then rewrapped to create one larger wreath for adding to the Mini Pizza Box.  Baker’s Twine was used to mimic a hanger and a Season of Gifts Mini Gift Bow was added to add a bit of color to the wreath.  So if you have some last minute gifts needing special wrapping, be sure to look through your Stampin’ Up! supplies.

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and I’m expecting family to start arriving mid-day so my next posting is planned for later in the week.  In the meantime…
Thanks for stopping by and check back next week.

Simple & Quick Season’s Greeting Card

Hi all…this final week before Christmas and it’s time to get those last minute cards prepared.  I hope I’m not the only one rushing to finish cards!  This is one that you’ll be able to make quickly and mail or add to a package.

Season’s Greetings using Stampin’ Up! Merry Music Designer Series Paper and Cheers to the Year Stamp Set

The Merry Music Designer Series Paper (DSP) was cut at 3 3/4″” x 5″ and then on the 5″ side, cut at 1 3/4″.  Since the paper is double sided, you can flip to use the alternate design or use a piece from another coordinating design in the paper package.  The DSP was layered onto Real Red Cardstock cut at 5 1/4″ x 4″.  Real Red Ribbon was wrapped across the “seam” where the two pieces of DSP meet and then attached to the card base of Thick Whisper White cardstock.  The greeting from the Cheers to the Year Stamp Set was stamped onto Whisper White cardstock with Real Red ink and cut using the Stitched Shaped Framelits and layered onto a piece of Real Red cardstock cut with the Layering Circles Framelits.  Several of the black rhinestones were added to finish the card.  NOTE:  The majority of Holiday Products used are being retired so check out the Year-End Sale (Shop Now) and order them before they are no longer available (before January 3, 2018 or while supplies last).

Just a reminder – Check out the Clearance Rack!  Stampin’ Up! has added new products and some of the favorites are selling quickly!

Thanks for stopping by and check back later this week for one final post before Christmas!

Craft Fair Project #2

Here is project number two from the Holiday Bazaar as detailed in my last post…Holiday Treat Poppers containing 2 Ferrero Roche candies.  Another great table favor, stocking stuffer or small thank you treat to handout!

Holiday Treat Poppers using Stampin’ Up! Be Merry Designer Series Paper, Envelope Punch Board & Labels to Love Stamp Set with Everyday Label Punch
The poppers were easy to make using a 6″ x 6″ square of Be Merry Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the envelope punch board.  After punching and assembling the poppers, the ends were tied with ribbon.  The green ribbon has been discontinued but the Cherry Cobbler 1/4″ Double-Stitched Ribbon is current.  Garden Green cardstock was cut using the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies to embellish some of the treat poppers.  On some of the poppers,  Real Red cardstock was cut using the Everyday Label Punch and snipped in half before adhering to the back of the stamped sentiment label to create a border.  The poppers are the perfect size for holding a few treats for the holidays.

Thanks for stopping by!  Check back tomorrow for the next project from the bazaar.

Silver & White = Elegant!

Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!  The countdown is on for Christmas so in this month’s card class, the focus was on Christmas cards.  One of the card designs was inspired by Linda Heller’s Stamping School. The whisper white cardstock with the silver accents creates an elegant look.  Combining texture embossing and heat embossing definitely creates a card with the “wow” factor.  So pull out your embossing tools and have fun creating!  And don’t forget the envelope…
