Yes, another treat holder! This will be the last of the Halloween treat holders. Since we don’t get children trick or treating in our neighborhood, I enjoy creating a few special treats for my grandson. I don’t know of any youngster that doesn’t like M & M’s and Alex is no different. So instead of giving him a large bag of M&Ms, a 1 x 8 cellophane bag is filled with the candy and embellished with a simple tag. The narrow cello bag is perfect “sugar control”!

Intentions were to complete and share this post on Friday but it was “one of those afternoons!” Despite the soggy weather, the morning was great. Ladies from our local craft club gathered to make the Witching Decor Project Kit, a Halloween card and the treat holder from the latest Paper Pumpkin kit. I had fun working with the ladies as they completed their projects. After the class, I dashed home to unload my supplies and repack my car to leave for a weekend in Atlanta. When I reached our condo, I unpacked and then realized not only had I forgot my computer but left several other items behind! My efforts to use my cell phone to complete the post was not very successful so I decided to relax and not fret over all that I left behind.
Earlier I shared a Halloween baker’s box treat holder made using the Baker’s Box Thinlits and the Go Wild Designer Series Paper Stack. The box was embellished with a tag from the Sweet Hauntings stamp set and with the skull and bones from the Howl-o-ween Treat stamp set. It was so much fun to make that I decided to use the Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper (DSP) to make another. This time instead of making a tag, I decided to stamp directly onto the DSP using the Howl-o-ween stamp set and clipped a piece of a Spider Web Doilie to the box. Stamping on DSP is a technique that I must remember to use more often!
While in the baker’s box mode, I decided to pull out the All Boxed Up Kit and completed it. If you wish to make some cute treat holders and don’t have time to use cut the boxes and embellishments, this is the perfect kit to use. The kit’s ten boxes are die-cut, scored and have adhesive attached for quick construction. Use the greetings from the All Boxed Up stamp set or select your preferred greeting to complete the kit.

Today was a rainy Tuesday so it’s was a great day to work on various projects. One project on my “to do” list was to make a few Halloween treat holders. Last week, I shared a baker’s box treat holder so the goal today was to create three quick and easy treat holders.
The September Paper Pumpkin kit has a cute treat holder that comes together very quickly. The “haystack” bag is adorable and comes with everything needed to make eight treat holders. It literally took 30 minutes to assemble all of the kit. Paper Pumpkin is a great way to try stamping and make cute projects. Everything for the monthly project is in the kit and best of all, it’s delivered to you!
Another of the treat holders is an embellished Mini Muslin Bag and the remaining holder is a fry box made by using the Fry Box Bigz L Die.

The Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper was used to make the Fry Box Treat Holder. The paper itself is decorative so instead of adding a lot of embellishment, I used the Boo to You Framelits Dies and black glimmer paper to cut the word “BOO!” and used pieces of cut dimensionals to elevate the word on the front of the fry box.
