Hi all! It’s a busy Friday so this is a brief post. I wanted to share with you a Baker’s Box treat holder that I made using the Stampin’ Up! Baker’s Box Thinlits. Since Halloween is rapidly approaching, I thought it most fitting to use the Sweet Hauntings and Howl-o-ween Treat stamp sets. I’ll be making a few more of treat holders using the Baker’s Box thinlits and will include details on this project at that time. Have a great weekend!

Hope you’re not tired of seeing more Christmas cards but I want to share a few of the cards from yesterday’s Stamp-a-Stack. These cards use the Your Presents stamp set and the Holidays Fancy Foil Design Vellum. The vellum adds a touch of elegance to even the simplest card design. For the card base, the Whisper White Thick card stock was used…if you have not tried this paper, you must put it on your wish list. The heavier weight of the card stock provides a sturdy card base and it’s a dream paper to work with. Also, note that the “kissing technique” was used to create the patterned packages. This stamp set lends itself to using this technique. Peeking from behind the left card is the edge of the embellished envelope…I often like to add a stamped image to either an envelope corner or the back flap; it’s that little unexpected that adds a nice touch.

Yes, I’m back to making Christmas cards! It’s only 97 days away and as we know, time flies so it will be here quickly. I really love the papers and stamp set bundles in the current Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog so that maybe part of the reason that I’m eager to make holiday cards. Since the Stamp-a-Stack class is next week, this card was designed to offer attendees the ability to create a card series that can be easily replicated. The Season of Cheer Designer Series Paper (DSP) provides a wonderful variety of colors and designs.
