May 21, 2018 | Retiring Products |

The Retiring Products have been announced. The Retired List’s for the 2017-2018 annual catalog are now available. Although I’m sad to see so many great products leave us, the new catalog will be live on June 1st with a bunch of brand new products to add to your collection. You can view the list below or in my online store and take a look at all that is available. Make sure to check for all your favorites. The stamp sets will be available through May 25th, after that they will all be while supplies last.
The accessories are only while supplies last. Most of the retiring colors will probably go fast. I suggest getting any refills you would like for your current colors. Also make sure to check the Clearance Rack and take advantage of those deals as well. It’s great when you can stock up for less. There are two lists. One is for the Annual catalog and one is for the Occasions catalog, so check both lists.
You can click the flyers above or visit my online store to see all the retiring products. Make sure to act fast because products sell out fast and most of them are on a first come first serve basis. Stampin’ Up! keeps the list updated each day so you always know if the products have sold out. The end of the month is coming soon and remember, June 1st is the release of the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. The Stamparatus will be released in the new catalog so if you were not able to get it during the pre order a few months ago, you can get it once the new catalog goes live. If you have any questions about the Retiring Products or the new catalog release, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I am happy to answer any questions.
Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping!

Apr 27, 2018 | Gift Bags, Mini-Treat Bag Thinlits |
I was excited to have been selected to participate at OnStage as a display board sample maker and it was a lot of fun to receive a box of upcoming products from Stampin’ Up! to use for making the samples. Of course, it required that I not share the products or show finished projects until after the meeting and now I am able to start sharing the projects with you. One of the new products received was the Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper package – this 6″x 6″ package of paper containing 4 each of 12 double-sided designs is gorgeous and I used it for making most of my projects. The first project being highlighted is a Mini Treat Bag made with one of the papers from the package. My box of new products also contained the Blossoms Elements embellishments and the Petal Pink Metallic Ribbon so they were used on this project also. A Delicate White Doily was wrapped around one edge of the mini treat bag and held in place with the Powder Pink Cardstock belly band. After wrapping the ribbon around the band, the Sweet Cake Framelits Dies were used to cut the Tranquil Tide Cardstock and Gold Foil creating a backdrop for the flower embellishments. The tag was cut using the Bouquet Bunch Framelits and stamped using the coordinating Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set.

It is important to note that while you are not able to order the Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper, the Blossom Element embellishments and Petal Pink Metallic Ribbon until June, the other supplies are available now. But don’t delay ordering the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits (item #137547) and the Delicate White Doilies (item #141701) – they are retiring on May 31 and are available while quantities last. Apr 17, 2018 | 3-D, Mini-Pizza Box, Petal Palette |
While attending OnStage, I participated in a swap so I opted to use the mini pizza box and embellish it to create a WOW 3-d project. One of my favorite stamps in the Occasions Catalog is the Petal Passion Suite and it has become one of my “go to” bundles so naturally I reached for it to use for creating a topper for the box. Using a strip of the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper (1 3/4″ in width), a belly band was made to wrap around the mini-pizza box. Then using the large circle framelit from the Stitched Shaped Framelits and Whisper White cardstock, a base to was cut to use for adhering a layer of leaves, a loop of mini sequin trim and the large floral spray from the Petal Palette stamp set, The leaves were cut from Tranquil Tide card stock using a leaf framelit from the Bouquet Bunch Framelits set. The floral spray was stamped using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink then sponge daubers were used to apply Berry Burst and Tranquil Tide inks. The sentiment is from the Perennial Birthday stamp set and was stamped onto a strip of Berry Burst cardstock using the tuxedo black ink and cut using the Petals and More Thinlits Dies, which were also used for cutting the stamped floral spray. Dimensionals and glue dots were used to hold the layers in place. The finishing touch was to add a double looped bow using solid Whisper White Baker’s Twine and adding a few “dew drops” from the Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes. Recipients could easily slide the belly band from the mini pizza box to see what goodies were inside for them to enjoy!

With the release of the retiring list, I was relieved to see that the Petal Palette bundle will not be retiring…Hooray!!!
Thanks for stopping by! Check back again and in the meantime, happy stamping!
