Following the holidays, I send notes of gratuity to family and friends for gifts. The new Kind & Sincere Stamp in the January-April Mini Catalog contains words and phrases perfect for expressing a variety of sentiments. Combining the stamp set, the designer series paper and using an embossing folder, a beautiful card is created!
How to create the Kind & Sincere meets Favored Flowers card…
Begin with a card base of Thick Basic White Cardstock (5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, score/fold at 4-1/4″.) On a 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of Basic White cardstock, stamp the word “Thanks” onto the lower right corner using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Texture emboss using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. After embossing, add to the card base with adhesive. Select a large flower image from the Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper and fussy cut. If desired, attach a loop of ribbon to the card where you plan to position the flower so that it will peek from beneath the image. Complete the card front by adding the fussy cut flower to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
