Happy Friday!  Hope July 4th Celebrations were fun and safe.

Today’s post is a Noble Peacock Make ‘n Take from the Luv 2 Stamp team meeting last Saturday. The Luv 2 Stamp team leader is Patty Bennett and I am in one of her three levels. Though I live many states away, I was able to participate via Facebook and order the project kits for the meeting.  The kits arrived before the meeting so the long-distance members could assemble during the meeting.  The beautiful Noble Peacock Make ‘n Take was designed by fellow team member,  Kurstan del Rosario (Kurstan’s Crafting Corner).  Isn’t the card gorgeous?

Do you notice there is no stamping on the card?!

The beauty of the paper and peacock creates a beautiful card not requiring a stamped sentiment on the card front.  Of course, you can easily add a stamped sentiment if desired.  Plus, you can add the sentiment to the card’s interior.  The peacock is cut using Detailed Peacock Dies from Sparkle Glimmer Paper.  It’s difficult to see in the photo but the Glimmer Paper is sponged in an ombre’ effect using Pretty Peacock, Blueberry Bushel and Old Olive inks.  Although I must note that the die cut peacock looks great without any coloring.

The coordinating Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Paper and Noble Peacock Foil Sheets add more elegance to the card.  The Noble Peacock Foil Sheet is cut using the Stitched Nested Labels dies. More items on the card from the Nobel Peacock Suite includes the Old Olive/Pretty Peacock Reversible Ribbon and the Noble Peacock Rhinestones.  The card base is Blueberry Bushel cardstock with an Old Olive cardstock layer.  The rich colors combine to create a beautiful project.

Thank you Kurstan for the beautiful card design!  Be sure to check out her blog to see other make ‘n takes from the meeting.

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!
