Time to share the remaining cards from last week’s Stamp-a-Stack class.  The three cards today complete the Nature Theme Series from the class.  Be sure to check out the Nature Theme Series  post from earlier to view other cards in the series.

In the card below, the “swish stamp” from Work of Art stamp set was used to create the background for the boat image from the Moon Lake stamp set.  The technique was described in the previous post.  It’s a quick, easy and very effective way to add background color.

In staying the Nature theme, the next two cards use the Wetlands stamp set.  The two stamp sets, Moon Lake and Wetlands, are a great combination for creating a variety of designs appropriate for almost every occasion. The first card definitely screams “masculine” with its’ gray, plaid, and blue colors.  To soften the edges of the whisper white circle with the duck image, the edges were sponged with basic gray ink.

To create balance on the card below, “sea oats” were stamped on the lower corner.  Don’t the birds look like they are running along the water’s edge at the beach?
