As the title implies, I have another friend celebrating her birthday this week so I’m sharing the card that she’ll receive from me.  I enjoy the soft color of the So Saffron card stock, therefore, I decided to make a mono-chromatic card focusing on it.  The emboss resist technique was used on the Swallowtail butterfly to add depth of color.  This technique is done by heat embossing desired image onto card stock and then sponging in a circular motion the desired color over the embossed image.  On this card, Crushed Curry was the ink color used.  The image “resists” the color but the area around the image becomes shaded.
