Hooray! Today is the Holiday Catalog launch so you can place your orders for Fall and Holiday crafting products. I was up early placing my order. It’s an exciting time whenever a new catalog is released. However, I think the Holiday Catalog launch is the most fun since it signals the change of seasons with fun holiday celebrations soon arriving. Have you placed your order yet?
On Monday, a card project featuring one of my favorite stamp sets from the Holiday Catalog, #Elfie, was highlighted. In addition, the card used the stamp set from the Most Wonder Time Product Medley. The product medley has lots of products for you to use when creating holiday cards and crafts.
In the video below, Tanner highlights all the components in the product medley, as well as, project ideas.
Isn’t the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley fantastic?! And what about all of the project ideas – I’ve definitely added the ideas to my CASE list.
Be sure to add the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley to your shopping list. The product medley will provide you with lots of products for your holiday creations. You can find more details regarding the product medley on page 39 in the Holiday Catalog.

Woohoo! On Wednesday, September 4th, you can order from the Stampin’ Up! 2019 Holiday Catalog! So, today I’m sharing a card made with products from my demonstrator preorder. I had lots of fun creating with #Eflie (item #150509). Last weekend, I participated in a Holiday Shoe Box Swap and selected #Elfie to use for my swap. The elves in the set are full of whimsy. If you like to color, you’ll enjoy using your favorite coloring method for the images. Believe me when I say, you’ll have fun creating with #Elfie! For my swap, watercolor pencils and a blender pen were the coloring tools. The images coordinate perfectly with other new products in the Holiday Catalog. Additional products include the Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper, the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint, the Shimmery Crystal Effects and Ice Stampin’ Glitter. Plus, see the presents around the frame? They can be found in the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley (this is a fantastic product offering!).
Card details:
Create a card base using an 11″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Pool Party cardstock. Score and fold at 5-1/2″ to create a top fold card. Next, cut a piece of the Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) to cover the card front (5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″). TIP: if the DSP you select has a directional pattern, double check it’s position before cutting. Attach the DSP to the card front.
Use the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut a Pool Party cardstock frame.
Stamp the elf using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a 4-5/8″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Whisper White cardstock. Color with the following watercolor pencils: Garden Green , Cherry Cobbler Red, Crushed Curry, Early Espresso (hair) and Flirty Flamingo (for the face). Use the blender pens to smooth the watercolor pencil colors. TIP: For the face, I touched the end of the blender pen to the Flirty Flamingo to pick up a small amount of color instead of directly coloring the face with the watercolor pencil. This ensured that just a small amount of color was added.
With the tip of a blender pen, pick up Golden Glitz Delicata Metallic Ink to color the ball on the striped pole and the bell on the elf hat.
To create a “fur look” on the brim of the elf hat, add a small amount of the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint and watch it “puff” when drying with the heat tool.
Lightly sponge Pool Party Ink around the elf and to stamp the snowflakes from the #Elfie stamp set.
Add a snowy glimmer to the sign by adding Shimmery Crystal Effects and sprinkling with a small amount of Ice Stampin’ Glitter.
Attach the frame to the elf panel using Foam Adhesive Strips. Then, attach to the card front using adhesive.
Final Touches:
Stamp two sets of the presents from the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley using Real Red and Crushed Curry Classic Stampin’ Pads onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock. Cut using the coordinating dies.
The sentiment is stamped onto Whisper White cardstock using the Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and cut using the Classic Label Punch.
Arrange the presents and sentiment around the frame attaching with mini glue dots and mini stampin’ dimensionals.
The Holiday Shoe Box Swap was a fun event! It allowed demonstrators to share project ideas using products from the 2019 Holiday Catalog. So, I’ll be sharing the projects with you soon.
Be sure to complete your shopping list from the Holiday Catalog and include the products shown in today’s post. When ready, you can place your order here starting on September 4th. I appreciate your support and for every $50 order (before shipping & taxes), you’ll receive a Thank You gift of the Shimmery Crystal Effects from me .

Create this perfect Christmas Gift Bag for the holidays this year. Fill it with your goodies or small gifts and surprise that special someone. It’s so much fun to create personal gift bags during the holidays. I love creating personal hand-made packaging in addition to cards and gifts. It’s a sure sign of joy and gift giving during the holiday season. My heart is full of love for crafting. Let them know how much you care.
You can find Santa’s Bags on page 19 of the Holiday Catalog. They are perfect for crafting. First of all, this one is decorated using the tree stamp from Timeless Tidings and Garden Green ink (you can also use any dark green ink that you have on hand). Before stamping the bag, cut a piece of cardstock to insert inside of the bag to prevent ink bleed through and to provide better stamping surface.
To create the tag, I used the Better Together stamp set in the Annual Catalog and Cherry Cobbler ink for the greeting. I also used Garden Green ink for the tree. Stamp off the image onto a different paper and then stamp over the sentiment. Also, sponge the label edge with the Garden Green. Finally, use Cherry Cobbler twine from the Festive Farmhouse Cotton Twine Trio and wrap around the bag drawstring. The punches that were used are the Everyday Label & 1/8″ handheld.
All of these products are available in my online store. I know you will enjoy having this Christmas gift bag option for any last minute gift giving this holiday season. I always enjoy the faces of everyone that receives my special holiday packaging.
If you are like me then you are going to be very excited about the year-end savings. It’s a time to take advantage of some retiring products and a few select ones from the annual catalog. You can save on a selection of retiring products and surplus items. They will only be WHILE SUPPLIES LAST so make sure to shop my online store early to ensure you get your favorites.
There is also a flyer (which you can download below) for the year-end savings that you can download and keep handy. This way you know what is on sale during this event. But remember, all the products are while supplies last. I know I always carry around my lists so I’m always prepared when I shop away from home. You can always check my online store for the most updated information.WIth our bundles, remember they only last during the catalog time and when the products are first introduced. After that catalog’s period of time is over, the products might carry over but the bundle pricing does not. If you have any questions about this special year-end savings, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
There are a few products backordered from the Holiday Catalog. Unfortunately, these products have exceeded Stampin’ Up!’s expectations and supplies. Therefore, there are a large number of backorders. Because backorders will take weeks to fulfill, Stampin’ Up! has made the decision to shut these items off effective immediately. The orders that are currently backordered will be fulfilled when the new supply arrives.
Consequently, the products cannot be sent from the manufacturer in time for the holidays, so these item numbers will not be reactivated.
