November is here and it’s not too early to start thinking of Christmas cards. Last month’s card class theme, All About Christmas, celebrated the upcoming season. One of the cards from the class is a beautiful fun fold card featuring the Sentimental Wishes Bundle. Not only does this card feature the bundle but it also highlights the gorgeous Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper (DSP). See the stocking and bow on the card front, it’s die cut from the DSP. I am giving you fair warning – you’ll be cutting lots of pieces for layering! But it’s the multiple layers that make this fun fold even more special. So, my suggestion is to cut multiples of the layering panels for several cards at once. If your time is limited, you’ll have everything prepped to assemble at your leisure.

In today’s post I’m sharing another of the cards from the February card class featuring products from the Perennial Lavender Product Suite. Building on the last post featuring a fun fold, this design is a double Z-fold card. The Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper provides a beautiful backdrop for the die cut leaves and the Paper Butterfly Embellishment. The card also uses the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder to cut and emboss the sentiment.

Hey stamping friends, today’s card will have you smiling! It’s a cascading fun fold card featuring the Little Monkey Bundle from Stampin’ Up! The card is one of the feature cards from the August 2023 focusing on different fun folds. The fun fold features each monkey from the stamp set on a different cascading panel. For the sentiment, the masking technique is used to continue the sentence onto the adjoining panel. This month’s kit-to go features the Hello Harvest Bundle and the Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper from the Stampin’ Up! July-December 2022 Mini Catalog. One of the cards is this Hello Harvest Fun Fold card. The fun fold is the book binding fold variation has been rotated so that it opens from bottom to top. Since I choose one of the black and white designer series papers as my base layer, I decided to keep the pumpkin white and bring in additional color by coloring the floral spray for the top of the pumpkin. I think it was a great choice! What do you think?

Today’s card features a fun fold. It’s a Dutch door birthday card featuring the Happiness Abounds Bundle and the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper. The Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper is gorgeous! Best of all, focal flowers on the front panel are easily cut using the coordinating Blossoming Happiness dies. Participants in the recent Stamp-a-Stack had fun making three of these cards.
How do you create a Dutch door card? Start with your card base (4-1/4″ x 11″) and score at 5-1/2″. Next, cut the front panel in half at 2-1/8″ and then trim along the fold seam from the top to intersect and remove the top piece. In the photo below, you can see the decorated panel and card interior.
